ಆ ಪಟ್ಟಣಗಳೆಲ್ಲಾ ಎತ್ತರವಾದ ಗೋಡೆಬಾಗಲು ಅಗುಳಿಗಳಿಂದ ಭದ್ರವಾಗಿದ್ದವು; ಅವುಗಳಲ್ಲದೆ ಬೈಲು ಸೀಮೆಯ ಪಟ್ಟಣಗಳು ಬಹಳ ಇದ್ದವು.
