ಆಕಾಶದಲ್ಲಿ ಉಪ್ಪರಿಗೆ ಗಳನ್ನು ಕಟ್ಟಿಕೊಂಡು ಭೂಮಿಯ ಮೇಲೆ ತಮ ತಂಡಗಳನ್ನು ಸ್ಥಾಪಿಸಿ ಸಮುದ್ರದ ನೀರನ್ನು ಕರೆದು ಅದನ್ನು ಭೂಮಿಯ ಮೇಲೆ ಒಯ್ಯುವಂತೆ ಮಾಡು ವವನು ಆತನೇ. ಆತನ ಹೆಸರು ಕರ್ತನು.

Amos 4:13
ಇಗೋ, ಬೆಟ್ಟಗಳನ್ನು ರೂಪಿಸಿ ಗಾಳಿ ಯನ್ನು ನಿರ್ಮಿಸಿ ಮನುಷ್ಯನಿಗೆ ಅವನ ಯೋಚನೆ ಏನೆಂದು ತಿಳಿಸಿ ಉದಯವನ್ನು ಅಂಧಕಾರವನ್ನಾಗಿ ಮಾಡಿ ಭೂಮಿಯ ಉನ್ನತ ಸ್ಥಳಗಳನ್ನು ತುಳಿದು ಬಿಡುವಾತನು ಆತನೇ. ಕರ್ತನೂ ಸೈನ್ಯಗಳ ದೇವರೂ ಎಂಬದು ಆತನ ಹೆಸರು.

Psalm 104:13
ಬೆಟ್ಟಗಳಿಗೆ ತನ್ನ ಉಪ್ಪರಿಗೆ ಗಳೊಳಗಿಂದ ನೀರು ಹಾಕುತ್ತಾನೆ; ತನ್ನ ಕೆಲಸಗಳ ಫಲದಿಂದ ಭೂಮಿಯು ತೃಪ್ತಿಯಾಗುತ್ತದೆ.
