ಅದಕ್ಕೆ ಸೊಲೊಮೋನನು--ನನ್ನ ತಂದೆಯಾಗಿರುವ ನಿನ್ನ ಸೇವಕನಾದ ದಾವೀದನು ನಿನ್ನ ಮುಂದೆ ಸತ್ಯದಿಂದಲೂ ನೀತಿಯಿಂದಲೂ ಯಥಾರ್ಥವಾದ ಹೃದಯವುಳ್ಳವ ನಾಗಿಯೂ ನಡೆದದ್ದರಿಂದ ನೀನು ಅವನಿಗೆ ಬಹು ದಯೆತೋರಿಸಿ ಈ ಮಹಾಕರುಣೆಯನ್ನು ಅವನಿ ಗೋಸ್ಕರ ಕಾದಿಟ್ಟಿದ್ದೀ. ಈ ಹೊತ್ತಿರುವ ಹಾಗೆಯೇ ತನ್ನ ಸಿಂಹಾಸನದ ಮೇಲೆ ಕುಳಿತುಕೊಳ್ಳಲು ಒಬ್ಬ ಮಗನನ್ನು ಕೊಟ್ಟಿದ್ದೀ.

ಅದಕ್ಕೆ ಸೊಲೊಮೋನನು--ನನ್ನ ತಂದೆಯಾಗಿರುವ ನಿನ್ನ ಸೇವಕನಾದ ದಾವೀದನು ನಿನ್ನ ಮುಂದೆ ಸತ್ಯದಿಂದಲೂ ನೀತಿಯಿಂದಲೂ ಯಥಾರ್ಥವಾದ ಹೃದಯವುಳ್ಳವ ನಾಗಿಯೂ ನಡೆದದ್ದರಿಂದ ನೀನು ಅವನಿಗೆ ಬಹು ದಯೆತೋರಿಸಿ ಈ ಮಹಾಕರುಣೆಯನ್ನು ಅವನಿ ಗೋಸ್ಕರ ಕಾದಿಟ್ಟಿದ್ದೀ. ಈ ಹೊತ್ತಿರುವ ಹಾಗೆಯೇ ತನ್ನ ಸಿಂಹಾಸನದ ಮೇಲೆ ಕುಳಿತುಕೊಳ್ಳಲು ಒಬ್ಬ ಮಗನನ್ನು ಕೊಟ್ಟಿದ್ದೀ.
