ಆಗ ಅರಸನಿಗೆ ತನ್ನ ಕನಸುಗಳನ್ನು ತಿಳಿಸುವ ಹಾಗೆ ಅರಸನು ಮಂತ್ರಗಾರರನ್ನೂ ಜೋತಿಷ್ಯರನ್ನೂ ಮಾಟ ಗಾರರನ್ನೂ ಕಸ್ದೀಯರನ್ನೂ ಕರೆಯಲು ಆಜ್ಞಾಪಿಸಿ ದನು; ಇವರೆಲ್ಲರೂ ಬಂದು ಅರಸನ ಮುಂದೆ ನಿಂತರು.

ಆಗ ಅರಸನು ಗಟ್ಟಿಯಾಗಿ ಕಿರುಚಿ ಜ್ಯೋತಿಷ್ಯರನ್ನೂ ಕಸ್ದೀಯರನ್ನೂ ಶಕುನರನ್ನೂ ಕರೆಸಿ ಬಾಬೆಲಿನ ಜ್ಞಾನಿ ಗಳಿಗೆ ಹೇಳಿದ್ದೇನಂದರೆ--ಯಾವನೂ ಈ ಬರಹವನ್ನು ಓದಿ ಅದರ ಅರ್ಥವನ್ನು ನನಗೆ ತಿಳಿಸುವನೋ ಅವರಿಗೆ ಧೂಮ್ರವಸ್ತ್ರವನ್ನು ಹೊದಿಸಿ ಅವನ ಕೊರಳಿಗೆ ಚಿನ್ನದ ಹಾರವನ್ನು ಹಾಕಿ ರಾಜ್ಯದ ಮೂರನೆಯ ಅಧಿಕಾರಿ ಯಾಗಿ ಮಾಡುವೆನು ಅಂದನು.

ಆದದರಿಂದ ನನ್ನ ಕನಸಿನ ಅರ್ಥವನ್ನು ನನಗೆ ತಿಳಿಸುವದಕ್ಕೋಸ್ಕರ ಬಾಬೆಲಿನ ಸಕಲ ಜ್ಞಾನಿಗಳನ್ನು ನನ್ನ ಮುಂದೆ ತರಬೇಕೆಂದು ಆಜ್ಞಾಪಿಸಿದೆನು.
