ಅವನು ಆ ರಾತ್ರಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ಎದ್ದು ತನ್ನ ಇಬ್ಬರು ಹೆಂಡತಿಯರನ್ನೂ ಇಬ್ಬರು ದಾಸಿಯರನ್ನೂ ತನ್ನ ಹನ್ನೊಂದು ಮಂದಿ ಕುಮಾರರನ್ನೂ ತಕ್ಕೊಂಡು ಯಬ್ಬೋಕ್‌ ಎಂಬ ಸ್ಥಳದಲ್ಲಿ ದಾಟಿದನು.
