ಅವರು ದ್ವೀಪದ ಮಾರ್ಗವಾಗಿ ಪಾಫೋಸಿಗೆ ಬಂದು ಅಲ್ಲಿ ಒಬ್ಬ ಸುಳ್ಳು ಪ್ರವಾದಿಯೂ ಮಂತ್ರವಾದಿಯೂ ಆಗಿದ್ದ ಬಾರ್ಯೇಸು ಎಂಬ ಒಬ್ಬ ಯೆಹೂದ್ಯನನ್ನು ಕಂಡರು.
