ಅದೇ ವಾರದ ಮೊದಲನೆಯ ದಿನದ ಸಾಯಂಕಾಲದಲ್ಲಿ ಯೆಹೂದ್ಯರ ಭಯದಿಂದ ಶಿಷ್ಯರು ಕೂಡಿ ಬಂದಿದ್ದ ಮನೆಯ ಬಾಗಲುಗಳು ಮುಚ್ಚಿದ್ದವು. ಆಗ ಯೇಸು ಬಂದು ಅವರ ಮಧ್ಯೆ ನಿಂತು-- ನಿಮಗೆ ಸಮಾಧಾನವಾಗಲಿ ಎಂದು ಅವರಿಗೆ ಹೇಳಿ ದನು.
