Isaiah 37:1
ಇದಾದ ಮೇಲೆ ಅರಸನಾದ ಹಿಜ್ಕೀಯನು ಅದನ್ನು ಕೇಳಿದಾಗ ಅವನು ತನ್ನ ಬಟ್ಟೆಗ ಳನ್ನು ಹರಿದುಕೊಂಡು ಗೋಣೀತಟ್ಟಿನಿಂದ ಮುಚ್ಚಿ ಕೊಂಡು ಕರ್ತನ ಆಲಯಕ್ಕೆ ಹೋದನು.

Isaiah 36:22
ಆಗ ಹಿಲ್ಕೀಯನ ಮಗನೂ ಮನೆಯ ಮೇಲ್ವಿಚಾರಕನೂ ಆಗಿದ್ದ ಎಲ್ಯಾಕೀಮನು ಮತ್ತು ಲೇಖಕನಾದ ಶೆಬ್ನ, ಆಸಾಫನ ಮಗನೂ ಬರೆಯುವವನೂ ಆದ ಯೋವ ಎಂಬವರು ತಮ್ಮ ಬಟ್ಟೆಗಳನ್ನು ಹರಿದು ಕೊಂಡು ಹಿಜ್ಕೀಯನ ಬಳಿಗೆ ಬಂದು ಅವನಿಗೆ ರಬ್ಷಾಕೆಯ ಮಾತುಗಳನ್ನು ತಿಳಿಸಿದರು.

Jeremiah 36:24
ಆದಾಗ್ಯೂ ಈ ವಾಕ್ಯಗಳನ್ನೆಲ್ಲಾ ಕೇಳಿದ ಅರಸನಾದರೂ ಅವನ ಸೇವಕರಲ್ಲಿ ಒಬ್ಬನಾದರೂ ಹೆದರಲಿಲ್ಲ, ತಮ್ಮವಸ್ತ್ರ ಗಳನ್ನು ಹರಕೊಳ್ಳಲಿಲ್ಲ.
