Ezekiel 20:9
ಆದರೆ ಅವರು ಯಾರ ಮಧ್ಯದಲ್ಲಿದ್ದರೋ ನಾನು ಯಾರ ಮುಂದೆ ಅವರನ್ನು ಐಗುಪ್ತದೇಶದಿಂದ ಹೊರಗೆ ತಂದು ನನ್ನನ್ನು ತಿಳಿಯ ಪಡಿಸಿದೆನೋ? ಆ ಅನ್ಯ ಜನಾಂಗಗಳ ಕಣ್ಣುಗಳ ಮುಂದೆ ನನ್ನ ಹೆಸರು ಅಪವಿತ್ರವಾಗದ ಹಾಗೆ ನನ್ನ ಹೆಸರಿಗೋಸ್ಕರವೇ ಈ ಕೆಲಸ ಮಾಡಿದೆನು;

ಆದಾಗ್ಯೂ ನಾನು ನನ್ನ ಕೈಯನ್ನು ಹಿಂತೆಗೆದು ನಾನು ಅವರನ್ನು ಯಾರ ಕಣ್ಣುಗಳ ಮುಂದೆ ಹೊರಗೆ ಬರಮಾಡಿದೆನೋ ಆ ಅನ್ಯಜನಾಂಗ ಗಳ ದೃಷ್ಟಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ನನ್ನ ಹೆಸರು ಅಪವಿತ್ರವಾಗದ ಹಾಗೆ ನನ್ನ ಹೆಸರಿಗೋಸ್ಕರವೇ ಕೆಲಸ ಮಾಡಿದೆನು.

ಕೇಡಿನ ನಿಮಿತ್ತವೂ ಬೆಟ್ಟಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಅವರನ್ನು ಕೊಲ್ಲುವದಕ್ಕೂ ಭೂಮಿಯ ಮೇಲಿನಿಂದ ಅವರನ್ನು ದಹಿಸಿಬಿಡುವದಕ್ಕೂ ಆತನು ಅವರನ್ನು ಹೊರಗೆ ಬರಮಾಡಿದ್ದಾನೆ ಎಂದು ಐಗುಪ್ತ್ಯರು ಯಾಕೆ ಹೇಳಬೇಕು? ನಿನ್ನ ಕೋಪದುರಿ ಯನ್ನು ಬಿಟ್ಟು ತಿರುಗಿಕೋ, ನಿನ್ನ ಜನರಿಗೆ ವಿರೋಧ ವಾದ ಈ ಕೇಡಿನ ವಿಷಯದಲ್ಲಿ ನಿನ್ನ ಮನಸ್ಸನ್ನು ಬದಲಾಯಿಸು.

ನಿಮ್ಮನ್ನು ತನ್ನ ಜನರಾಗಿ ಮಾಡಿಕೊಳ್ಳಲು ಇಚ್ಛೈಸಿದ್ದಾನಲ್ಲಾ! ಇದಲ್ಲದೆ ನಾನು ನಿಮಗೋಸ್ಕರ ಪ್ರಾರ್ಥನೆ ಮಾಡದೆ ಕರ್ತನಿಗೆ ವಿರೋಧವಾಗಿ ಮಾಡುವ ಪಾಪವು ನನಗೆ ದೂರವಾಗಿರಲಿ.

ನಾನು--ಅವರನ್ನು ಚದುರಿಸಿಬಿಡುವೆನೆಂದು ಹೇಳಿಕೊಂಡೆನು; ಅವರ ಜ್ಞಾಪಕವನ್ನು ಮನುಷ್ಯರಲ್ಲಿ ಇರದ ಹಾಗೆ ಮಾಡುವೆನು.

ಆಗ ಮೋಶೆ ಕರ್ತನಿಗೆ--ಹಾಗಾದರೆ ಐಗುಪ್ತ್ಯರು ಅದನ್ನು ಕೇಳುವರು; ನೀನು ಈ ಜನರನ್ನು ನಿನ್ನ ಬಲದೊಂದಿಗೆ ಅವರ ಮಧ್ಯದಲ್ಲಿಂದ ಹೊರಗೆ ಬರಮಾಡಿದಿಯಲ್ಲಾ!
