Deuteronomy 9:4
ನಿನ್ನ ದೇವರಾದ ಕರ್ತನು ಅವರನ್ನು ನಿನ್ನ ಮುಂದೆ ತಳ್ಳಿಹಾಕಿದಾಗ--ನನ್ನ ನೀತಿಯ ನಿಮಿತ್ತ ಈ ದೇಶವನ್ನು ಸ್ವತಂತ್ರಿಸಿಕೊಳ್ಳುವ ಹಾಗೆ ಕರ್ತನು ನನ್ನನ್ನು ಕರಕೊಂಡು ಬಂದಿದ್ದಾನೆಂದು ನಿನ್ನ ಹೃದಯದಲ್ಲಿ ಹೇಳಿಕೊಳ್ಳ ಬಾರದು; ಆ ಜನಾಂಗಗಳ ಕೆಟ್ಟತನದ ನಿಮಿತ್ತ ಕರ್ತನು ಅವರನ್ನು ನಿನ್ನ ಮುಂದೆ ಹೊರಡಿಸುತ್ತಾನೆ.
