2 Samuel 17:29
ಅವರೆಯನ್ನೂ ಹೆಸರನ್ನೂ ಹುರಿದ ಕಡಲೆಯನ್ನೂ ಜೇನು ತುಪ್ಪವನ್ನೂ ಬೆಣ್ಣೆಯನ್ನೂ ಕುರಿಗಳನ್ನೂ ಹಸುವಿನ ಗಿಣ್ಣದ ಗಡ್ಡೆಗಳನ್ನೂ ದಾವೀದನಿಗೂ ಅವನ ಸಂಗಡ ಲಿದ್ದ ಜನರಿಗೂ ತಿನ್ನುವದಕ್ಕೆ ತಂದರು. ಯಾಕಂದರೆ ಅರಣ್ಯದಲ್ಲಿ ಜನರು ಹಸಿದು ದಣಿದು ದಾಹವಾಗಿರು ವರೆಂದು ಅಂದುಕೊಂಡರು.

| kine, of | בָּקָ֔ר | bāqār | ba-KAHR |
| for David, | הִגִּ֧ישׁוּ | higgîšû | hee-ɡEE-shoo |
| and for the people | לְדָוִ֛ד | lĕdāwid | leh-da-VEED |
| that | וְלָעָ֥ם | wĕlāʿām | veh-la-AM |
| with were | אֲשֶׁר | ʾăšer | uh-SHER |
| him, to eat: | אִתּ֖וֹ | ʾittô | EE-toh |
| for | לֶֽאֱכ֑וֹל | leʾĕkôl | leh-ay-HOLE |
| said, they | כִּ֣י | kî | kee |
| The people | אָֽמְר֔וּ | ʾāmĕrû | ah-meh-ROO |
| hungry, is | הָעָ֗ם | hāʿām | ha-AM |
| and weary, | רָעֵ֛ב | rāʿēb | ra-AVE |
| and thirsty, | וְעָיֵ֥ף | wĕʿāyēp | veh-ah-YAFE |
| in the wilderness. | וְצָמֵ֖א | wĕṣāmēʾ | veh-tsa-MAY |
| בַּמִּדְבָּֽר׃ | bammidbār | ba-meed-BAHR |
