ಅವಳು ತನ್ನ ಯಜಮಾನಿಗೆ--ನನ್ನ ದಣಿಯು ಸಮಾರ್ಯದಲ್ಲಿರುವ ಪ್ರವಾದಿಯ ಬಳಿಯಲ್ಲಿರುತ್ತಿದ್ದರೆ ಅವನು ಇವನ ಕುಷ್ಠರೋಗವನ್ನು ವಾಸಿಮಾಡುತ್ತಿದ್ದನು ಅಂದಳು.

ಇಸ್ರಾಯೇಲ್ಯರ ಅರಸನು ತನ್ನ ವಸ್ತ್ರಗಳನ್ನು ಹರಿದು ಕೊಂಡನೆಂದು ದೇವರ ಮನುಷ್ಯನಾದ ಎಲೀಷನು ಕೇಳಿದಾಗ--ನೀನು ನಿನ್ನ ವಸ್ತ್ರಗಳನ್ನು ಹರಿದುಕೊಂಡ ದ್ದೇನು? ಇಸ್ರಾಯೇಲಿನಲ್ಲಿ ಪ್ರವಾದಿ ಇದ್ದಾನೆಂದು ಅವನು ತಿಳುಕೊಳ್ಳುವ ಹಾಗೆ ಅವನು ನನ್ನ ಬಳಿಗೆ ಬರಲಿ ಎಂದು ಅರಸನಿಗೆ ಹೇಳಿ ಕಳುಹಿಸಿದನು.
