ಯೆಹೋವಾಹಾಜನು ಆಳಲು ಆರಂಭಿಸಿದಾಗ ಇಪ್ಪತ್ತು ಮೂರು ವರುಷದವನಾಗಿದ್ದು ಯೆರೂಸಲೇಮಿ ನಲ್ಲಿ ಮೂರು ತಿಂಗಳು ಆಳಿದನು. ಅವನ ತಾಯಿ ಲಿಬ್ನ ಪಟ್ಟಣದ ಯೆರೆವಿಾಯನ ಮಗಳಾಗಿದ್ದು ಹಮೂಟಲ್‌ ಎಂಬವಳಾಗಿದ್ದಳು.
