ಎಲೀಯನು ತನ್ನ ಹೊದಿಕೆಯನ್ನು ತೆಗೆದು ಮಡಚಿಕೊಂಡು ನೀರನ್ನು ಹೊಡೆದನು. ಆಗ ಆ ನೀರು ವಿಭಾಗವಾದದರಿಂದ ಅವರಿಬ್ಬರೂ ಒಣ ಭೂಮಿಯ ಮೇಲೆ ದಾಟಿಹೋದರು.
