ಇದಲ್ಲದೆ ಇಸ್ರಾಯೇಲಿನ ನಾಮವನ್ನು ಆಕಾಶದ ಕೆಳಗಿನಿಂದ ಅಳಿಸಿ ಬಿಡುವೆನೆಂದು ಕರ್ತನು ಹೇಳಿದ್ದಿಲ್ಲ; ಆದರೆ ಯೋವಾಷನ ಮಗನಾದ ಯಾರೊಬ್ಬಾಮನ ಕೈಯಿಂದ ಅವರನ್ನು ರಕ್ಷಿಸಿದನು.

ಕರ್ತನು ಇಸ್ರಾಯೇಲಿಗೆ ಒಬ್ಬ ರಕ್ಷಕ ನನ್ನು ಕೊಟ್ಟಿದ್ದರಿಂದ ಅವರು ಅರಾಮ್ಯರ ಕೈಯಿಂದ ತಪ್ಪಿಸಿಕೊಂಡು ಹೋದರು. ಇಸ್ರಾಯೇಲ್ ಮಕ್ಕಳು ಮುಂಚಿನ ಹಾಗೆ ತಮ್ಮ ಡೇರೆಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ವಾಸವಾಗಿದ್ದರು.

Deuteronomy 9:14
ನನ್ನನ್ನು ಬಿಡು; ಆಗ ಅವರನ್ನು ನಾಶಮಾಡಿ ಅವರ ಹೆಸರನ್ನು ಆಕಾಶದ ಕೆಳಗಿನಿಂದ ಅಳಿಸಿಬಿಟ್ಟು ನಿನ್ನನ್ನು ಅವರಿಗಿಂತ ಬಲವಾದ ಬಹು ಜನಾಂಗವಾಗ ಮಾಡುವೆನು ಎಂದು ಹೇಳಿದನು.
Exodus 32:32
ಆದಾಗ್ಯೂ ಈಗ ನೀನು ಅವರ ಪಾಪವನ್ನು ಕ್ಷಮಿಸಬೇಕು. ಇಲ್ಲ ವಾದರೆ ನೀನು ಬರೆದ ನಿನ್ನ ಪುಸ್ತಕದಿಂದ ನನ್ನ ಹೆಸರನ್ನು ಅಳಿಸಿಬಿಡು ಎಂದು ಬೇಡಿಕೊಂಡನು.
