ಅರಸನು ಯೆರೂಸಲೇಮಿನಲ್ಲಿ ಬೆಳ್ಳಿಯನ್ನು ಕಲ್ಲು ಗಳ ಹಾಗೆಯೂ ದೇವದಾರು ಮರಗಳನ್ನು ತಗ್ಗಿನ ಲ್ಲಿರುವ ಆಲದ ಮರಗಳ ಹಾಗೆಯೂ ಬಹಳವಾಗಿ ಮಾಡಿದನು.

ಅರಸನಾದ ಸೊಲೊಮೋನನು ಕುಡಿಯುವ ಪಾತ್ರೆಗಳೆಲ್ಲಾ ಬಂಗಾರದವುಗಳು. ಲೆಬನೋನಿನ ಅಡವಿಯ ಮನೆಯ ಪಾತ್ರೆಗಳೆಲ್ಲಾ ಹೀಗೆಯೇ ಅಪ ರಂಜಿಯವುಗಳು. ಬೆಳ್ಳಿಯದು ಒಂದೂ ಇರಲಿಲ್ಲ. ಸೊಲೊಮೋನನ ದಿವಸಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಬೆಳ್ಳಿಗೆ ಬೆಲೆಯೇ ಇರಲಿಲ್ಲ.
