ಆತನು ತನ್ನ ಬಾಯಿಂದ--ನನ್ನ ಜನ ರಾದ ಇಸ್ರಾಯೇಲನ್ನು ಐಗುಪ್ತದೇಶದಿಂದ ಬರ ಮಾಡಿದ ದಿನ ಮೊದಲುಗೊಂಡು ನನ್ನ ಹೆಸರು ಅದರಲ್ಲಿ ಇರುವ ಹಾಗೆ ಆಲಯವನ್ನು ಕಟ್ಟುವದಕ್ಕೆ ಇಸ್ರಾಯೇಲನ ಸಮಸ್ತ ಗೋತ್ರಗಳೊಳಗಿಂದ ಯಾವ ಪಟ್ಟಣವನ್ನೂ ಆದುಕೊಳ್ಳಲಿಲ್ಲ; ನನ್ನ ಜನರಾದ ಇಸ್ರಾ ಯೇಲಿನ ಮೇಲೆ ಆಳುವವನಾಗಿರಲು ನಾನು ಒಬ್ಬನ ನ್ನಾದರೂ ಆದುಕೊಳ್ಳಲಿಲ್ಲ.

Deuteronomy 12:5

Exodus 23:21
ಆತನ ವಿಷಯದಲ್ಲಿ ಜಾಗ್ರತೆ ಯಾಗಿದ್ದು ಆತನ ಮಾತಿಗೆ ವಿಧೇಯನಾಗು. ಆತನಿಗೆ ಕೋಪವನ್ನೆಬ್ಬಿಸಬೇಡ; ನನ್ನ ಹೆಸರು ಆತನಲ್ಲಿ ಇರುವ ದರಿಂದ ಆತನು ನಿಮ್ಮ ದ್ರೋಹಗಳನ್ನು ಮನ್ನಿಸುವದಿಲ್ಲ.
