2 Chronicles 25:20
ಆದರೆ ಅಮ ಚ್ಯನು ಕೇಳದೆಹೋದನು. ಯಾಕಂದರೆ ಅವರು ಎದೋ ಮ್ಯರ ದೇವರುಗಳನ್ನು ಹುಡುಕಿದ ನಿಮಿತ್ತ ಅವರನ್ನು ಶತ್ರುಗಳ ಕೈಯಲ್ಲಿ ಒಪ್ಪಿಸುವ ಹಾಗೆ ಇದು ದೇವರಿಂದ ಆಯಿತು.

ಅವನು ಅರ ಸನ ಸಂಗಡ ಮಾತನಾಡುತ್ತಿರುವಾಗ ಅರಸನು ಅವ ನಿಗೆ--ಅರಸನ ಯೋಚನಾಕರ್ತರಲ್ಲಿ ನೀನು ಒಬ್ಬ ನಾಗಿದ್ದೀಯೋ? ನೀನು ಯಾಕೆ ಹೊಡೆಯಲ್ಪಡಬೇಕು ಅಂದನು. ಆಗ ಪ್ರವಾದಿಯು--ನೀನು ನನ್ನ ಯೋಚನೆ ಯನ್ನು ಕೇಳದೆ ಇದನ್ನು ಮಾಡಿದ್ದರಿಂದ ದೇವರು ನಿನ್ನನ್ನು ನಾಶಮಾಡಲು ತೀರ್ಮಾನಿಸಿದ್ದಾನೆಂದು ನಾನು ಬಲ್ಲೆನು ಎಂದು ಹೇಳಿಬಿಟ್ಟನು.
Psalm 81:11
