ಆದಕಾರಣ ಅವನು ಅಹಾಬನ ಮನೆಯವರ ಹಾಗೆ ಕರ್ತನ ಸಮ್ಮುಖದಲ್ಲಿ ಕೆಟ್ಟದ್ದನ್ನು ಮಾಡಿದನು. ಅವನ ತಂದೆ ಸತ್ತ ತರುವಾಯ ಇವರು ಅವರ ನಾಶನಕ್ಕೆ ಅವನ ಸಲಹೆಗಾರರಾಗಿದ್ದರು.
