ಆದರೆ ಕೂಷಿಯನಾದ ಜೆರಹನು ಅವರಿಗೆ ವಿರೋ ಧವಾಗಿ ಹೊರಟು ಮಾರೇಷದ ಮಟ್ಟಿಗೂ ಬಂದನು. ಅವನ ಸಂಗಡ ಹತ್ತು ಲಕ್ಷ ಜನ ರಾಣುವೆಯೂ ಮುನ್ನೂರು ರಥಗಳೂ ಇದ್ದವು.
