ಯೆಹೋಯಾಖೀನನು ಆಳಲು ಆರಂಭಿಸಿದಾಗ ಹದಿನೆಂಟು ವರುಷದವನಾಗಿದ್ದು ಯೆರೂಸಲೇಮಿನಲ್ಲಿ ಮೂರು ತಿಂಗಳು ಆಳಿದನು. ಅವನ ತಾಯಿಯು ಯೆರೂಸಲೇಮಿನ ಎಲ್ನಾತಾನನ ಮಗಳಾಗಿದ್ದು ನೆಹು ಷ್ಟಾಳೆಂಬವಳು.
