ಹಿಜ್ಕೀಯನು ಅವನವನ ಸೇವೆಯ ಪ್ರಕಾರ ಯಾಜ ಕರ ಲೇವಿಯರ ಸರತಿಗಳನ್ನು ನೇಮಿಸಿದನು. ದಹನ ಬಲಿಗಳನ್ನು ಮತ್ತು ಸಮಾಧಾನದ ಬಲಿಗಳನ್ನು ಅರ್ಪಿ ಸುವದಕ್ಕೂ ಸೇವಿಸುವದಕ್ಕೂ ಕರ್ತನ ಗುಡಾರಗಳ ಬಾಗಲುಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಸ್ತೋತ್ರ ಮಾಡುವದಕ್ಕೂ ಕೊಂಡಾ ಡುವದಕ್ಕೂ ಯಾಜಕರನ್ನೂ ಲೇವಿಯರನ್ನೂ ನೇಮಿಸಿ ದನು.
