ಆಗ ಇಸ್ರಾಯೇಲಿನ ಅರ ಸನು ಯೆಹೋಷಾಫಾಟನಿಗೆ--ನಾನು ನನ್ನನ್ನು ಮರೆ ಮಾಜಿ ಯುದ್ಧದಲ್ಲಿ ಪ್ರವೇಶಿಸುವೆನು; ಆದರೆ ನೀನು ನಿನ್ನ ವಸ್ತ್ರಗಳನ್ನು ಧರಿಸಿಕೊಂಡಿರು ಅಂದನು. ಹಾಗೆಯೇ ಇಸ್ರಾಯೇಲಿನ ಅರಸನು ತನ್ನನ್ನು ಮರೆಮಾಜಿದನು; ಅವರು ಯುದ್ಧಕ್ಕೆ ಹೋದರು.
