ಆಗ ಸೌಲನು ದಾವೀದನ ಶಬ್ದವನ್ನು ತಿಳುಕೊಂಡು--ನನ್ನ ಕುಮಾರನಾದ ದಾವೀ ದನೇ, ಇದು ನಿನ್ನ ಸ್ವರವಲ್ಲವೋ ಅಂದನು. ದಾವೀ ದನು--ಅರಸನಾದ ನನ್ನ ಒಡೆಯನೇ, ನನ್ನ ಸ್ವರವೇ ಹೌದು ಅಂದನು.
