1 Samuel 18:5
ಸೌಲನು ದಾವೀದನನ್ನು ಎಲ್ಲಿಗೆ ಕಳುಹಿಸಿದರೂ ಅಲ್ಲಿಗೆ ಹೋಗಿ ಅವನು ಬುದ್ಧಿ ಯಿಂದ ಕಾರ್ಯವನ್ನು ನಡಿಸುತ್ತಿದ್ದನು. ಆದದರಿಂದ ಸೌಲನು ಅವನನ್ನು ಯುದ್ಧಸ್ಥರ ಮೇಲೆ ಅಧಿಕಾರಿಯಾಗ ಮಾಡಿದನು. ಅವನು ಸಮಸ್ತ ಜನರ ದೃಷ್ಟಿಯಲ್ಲಿಯೂ ಸೌಲನ ಎಲ್ಲಾ ಸೇವಕರ ದೃಷ್ಟಿಯಲ್ಲಿಯೂ ಒಪ್ಪಿಗೆಯಾಗಿದ್ದನು.
