ಫಿಲಿಷ್ಟಿಯರ ಠಾಣ ವನ್ನು ಸೌಲನು ಹೊಡೆದನೆಂದೂ ಫಿಲಿಷ್ಟಿಯರಿಗೆ ಇಸ್ರಾಯೇಲ್ಯರು ಅಸಹ್ಯವಾದವರಾದರೆಂದೂ ಸಮಸ್ತ ಇಸ್ರಾಯೇಲ್ಯರು ಕೇಳಿದಾಗ ಸೌಲನ ಹಿಂದೆ ಹೋಗಲು ಗಿಲ್ಗಾಲಿಗೆ ಕರೆಸಿಕೊಳ್ಳಲ್ಪಟ್ಟರು.
