1 Kings 16:30
ಆದರೆ ಒಮ್ರಿಯ ಮಗನಾದ ಅಹಾಬನು ತನಗೆ ಮುಂಚೆ ಇದ್ದ ಎಲ್ಲರಿಗಿಂತ ಕರ್ತನ ಮುಂದೆ ಹೆಚ್ಚು ಕೆಟ್ಟತನಮಾಡಿದನು.

ನೆಬಾಟನ ಮಗನಾದ ಯಾರೊಬ್ಬಾಮನ ಪಾಪಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ನಡೆಯು ವದು ಅವನಿಗೆ ಅಲ್ಪವಾಗಿತ್ತು; ಅವನು ಚೀದೋನ್ಯರ ಅರಸನಾಗಿರುವ ಎತ್ಬಾಳನ ಮಗಳಾದ ಈಜೆಬೆಲಳನ್ನು ಮದುವೆಯಾಗಿ ಬಾಳನನ್ನು ಸೇವಿಸಿ ಅವನಿಗೆ ಅಡ್ಡ ಬಿದ್ದನು.

ಅಹಾಬನು ತೋಪನ್ನು ಹಾಕಿಸಿದನು. ಹೀಗೆಯೆ ಅಹಾಬನು ಇಸ್ರಾಯೇಲಿನ ದೇವರಾದ ಕರ್ತನಿಗೆ ಕೋಪವನ್ನು ಎಬ್ಬಿಸುವ ಹಾಗೆ ತನಗೆ ಮುಂಚಿನ ಇಸ್ರಾಯೇಲಿನ ಅರಸುಗಳೆಲ್ಲರಿಗಿಂತ ಅಧಿಕ ವಾಗಿ ಕೆಟ್ಟತನಮಾಡಿದನು.
2 Kings 3:2
ಅವನು ಕರ್ತನ ಸಮ್ಮುಖದಲ್ಲಿ ಕೆಟ್ಟದ್ದನ್ನು ಮಾಡಿದನು. ಆದರೆ ತನ್ನ ತಂದೆ ತಾಯಿಯ ಹಾಗೂ ಅಲ್ಲ; ತನ್ನ ತಂದೆಯು ಮಾಡಿಟ್ಟ ಬಾಳನ ಸ್ತಂಭವನ್ನು ತೆಗೆದುಹಾಕಿದನು.
