ಒಮ್ರಿಯು ತನ್ನ ಪಿತೃಗಳ ಸಂಗಡ ಮಲಗಿ ಸಮಾರ್ಯ ಪಟ್ಟಣ ದಲ್ಲಿ ಹೂಣಿಡಲ್ಪಟ್ಟನು; ಅವನಿಗೆ ಬದಲಾಗಿ ಅವನ ಮಗನಾದ ಅಹಾಬನು ಆಳಿದನು.
