1 Kings 12:28
ಎಂದು ಅರಸನು ಆಲೋ ಚನೆ ಕೇಳಿಕೊಂಡು ಎರಡು ಬಂಗಾರದ ಹೋರಿಗ ಳನ್ನು ಮಾಡಿಸಿ ಜನರಿಗೆ--ಯೆರೂಸಲೇಮಿನ ವರೆಗೂ ಹೋಗುವದು ನಿಮಗೆ ಕಷ್ಟವಾಗಿದೆ. ಓ ಇಸ್ರಾಯೇಲೇ, ಇಗೋ, ಐಗುಪ್ತದಿಂದ ನಿನ್ನನ್ನು ಬರಮಾಡಿದ ನಿನ್ನ ಈ ದೇವರುಗಳು ಅಂದನು.

Isaiah 30:1
ಕರ್ತನು ಹೀಗೆ ಅನ್ನುತ್ತಾನೆ. ತಿರುಗಿ ಬೀಳುವ ಮಕ್ಕಳಿಗೆ ಅಯ್ಯೋ ಅವರು ಆಲೋಚನೆಯನ್ನು ಮಾಡುತ್ತಾರೆ, ಆದರೆ ನನ್ನಿಂದಲ್ಲ; ನನ್ನ ಆತ್ಮಪ್ರೇರಿತರಾಗದೆ ಉಪಾಯವನ್ನು ನೇಯ್ದು ಪಾಪದ ಮೇಲೆ ಪಾಪವನ್ನು ಸೇರಿಸಿಕೊಂಡಿದ್ದಾರೆ.

ಆದರೆ ಅವನು ತನಗೆ ಹಿರಿಯರು ಹೇಳಿದ ಆಲೋಚನೆಯನ್ನು ಬಿಟ್ಟು ತನ್ನ ಸಂಗಡ ಬೆಳೆದು ತನ್ನ ಮುಂದೆ ನಿಂತಿರುವ ಯೌವನಸ್ಥರ ಆಲೋ ಚನೆಯನ್ನು ಕೇಳಿದನು.
