ಲೆಕ್ಕವಿಲ್ಲದಷ್ಟು ದೇವದಾರು ಮರಗಳನ್ನು ಸಿದ್ಧಮಾಡಿ ಸಿದನು; ಚೀದೋನ್ಯರೂ ತೂರ್ಯರೂ ದಾವೀದನಿಗೆ ಹೆಚ್ಚಾಗಿ ದೇವದಾರು ಮರಗಳನ್ನು ತಂದರು.

ಆಗ ತೂರಿನ ಅರಸನಾದ ಹೀರಾ ಮನು ದಾವೀದನ ಬಳಿಗೆ ದೂತರನ್ನೂ ದೇವದಾರು ಮರಗಳನ್ನೂ ಬಡಿಗೆಯವರನ್ನೂ ಶಿಲ್ಪಿಗಳನ್ನೂ ಕಳು ಹಿಸಿದನು. ಅವರು ದಾವೀದನಿಗೆ ಮನೆಯನ್ನು ಕಟ್ಟಿ ದರು.

ಇದ ಲ್ಲದೆ ಸೊಲೊಮೋನನು ತೂರಿನ ಅರಸನಾದ ಹೂರಾಮನಿಗೆ--ವಾಸವಾಗಿರುವ ಮನೆಯನ್ನು ತನಗೆ ಕಟ್ಟಿಸಲು ನೀನು ನನ್ನ ತಂದೆಯಾದ ದಾವೀದನಿಗೆ ದೇವದಾರು ಮರಗಳನ್ನು ಕಳುಹಿಸಿ ಅವನಿಗೋಸ್ಕರ ಹೇಗೆ ಮಾಡಿದಿಯೋ ಹಾಗೆಯೇ ನನಗೂ ಮಾಡು.
