ಅದಕ್ಕೆ ಯೋವಾಬನು--ಕರ್ತನು ತನ್ನ ಜನರನ್ನು ಈಗ ಇರುವದಕ್ಕಿಂತ ನೂರರಷ್ಟಾಗಿ ಮಾಡಲಿ; ಆದರೆ ನನ್ನ ಒಡೆಯನಾದ ಅರಸನೇ, ಅವರೆಲ್ಲರು ನನ್ನ ಒಡೆಯನ ಸೇವಕರಲ್ಲವೋ? ನನ್ನ ಒಡೆಯನು ಈ ಕಾರ್ಯವನ್ನು ವಿಚಾರಿಸುವದು ಯಾಕೆ? ಅವನು ಇಸ್ರಾಯೇಲಿನಲ್ಲಿ ಅಪರಾಧಕ್ಕೆ ಕಾರಣವಾಗುವದು ಯಾಕೆ ಅಂದನು.
