1 Kings 13:7
ಅರಸನು ದೇವರ ಮನುಷ್ಯನಿಗೆ--ನೀನು ನನ್ನ ಕೂಡ ಮನೆಗೆ ಬಂದು ನಿನ್ನನ್ನು ಚೇತರಿಸಿಕೋ. ನಾನು ನಿನಗೆ ಒಂದು ಬಹುಮಾನ ಕೊಡುವೆನು ಅಂದನು.

ಆಗ ಸೌಲನು ತನ್ನ ಸೇವಕನಿಗೆ--ಇಗೋ, ನಾವು ಆ ಮನುಷ್ಯನ ಬಳಿಗೆ ಹೋದರೆ ಏನು ತಕ್ಕೊಂಡು ಹೋಗುವದು? ಯಾಕಂದರೆ ನಮ್ಮ ಹಸಿಬೆಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಇರುವ ರೊಟ್ಟಿ ಮುಗಿದುಹೋಯಿತು. ದೇವರ ಮನುಷ್ಯನ ಬಳಿಗೆ ತಕ್ಕೊಂಡು ಹೋಗಲು ತಕ್ಕ ಕಾಣಿಕೆ ಇಲ್ಲ; ನಮ್ಮ ಬಳಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ಏನದೆ ಅಂದನು.
Genesis 18:5
ನಾನು ಒಂದಿಷ್ಟು ರೊಟ್ಟಿಯನ್ನು ತರುವೆನು; ನೀವು ನಿಮ್ಮ ಹೃದಯಗಳನ್ನು ಆದರಿಸಿಕೊಳ್ಳಿರಿ; ತರುವಾಯ ನೀವು ಮುಂದೆ ಹೊರಟು ಹೋಗಬಹುದು. ಅದಕ್ಕೋಸ್ಕರವೇ ನೀವು ನಿಮ್ಮ ದಾಸನ ಬಳಿಗೆ ಬಂದಿದ್ದೀರಿ ಎಂದು ಬೇಡಿಕೊಂಡನು. ಅದಕ್ಕೆ ಅವರು--ನೀನು ಹೇಳಿದಂತೆಯೇ ಮಾಡು ಅಂದರು.
Judges 13:15
ಮಾನೋ ಹನು ಕರ್ತನ ದೂತನಿಗೆ--ನಾವು ನಿನಗೋಸ್ಕರ ಮೇಕೆಯ ಮರಿಯನ್ನು ಸಿದ್ಧಮಾಡುವ ವರೆಗೆ ನಿನ್ನನ್ನು ನಿಲ್ಲಿಸಿಕೊಳ್ಳುತ್ತೇವೆ ಎಂದು ಬೇಡುತ್ತೇನೆ ಅಂದನು.
Judges 19:21

ಯೆರೆವಿಾಯನು ಇನ್ನು ಹಿಂತಿ ರುಗದೆ ಇರುವಾಗ ನೆಬೂಜರದಾನನು ಹೇಳಿದ್ದೇ ನಂದರೆ--ಬಾಬೆಲಿನ ಅರಸನು ಯೆಹೂದದ ಪಟ್ಟಣ ಗಳ ಮೇಲೆ ಅಧಿಕಾರಿಯಾಗಿ ಇಟ್ಟ ಶಾಫಾನನ ಮಗ ನಾದ ಅಹೀಕಾಮನ ಮಗನಾದ ಗೆದಲ್ಯನ ಬಳಿಗೆ ತಿರುಗಿಕೋ, ಅವನ ಸಂಗಡ ಜನರೊಳಗೆ ವಾಸ ಮಾಡು; ಇಲ್ಲವೆ ಎಲ್ಲಿ ಹೋಗುವದಕ್ಕೆ ನಿನಗೆ ಸರಿಯಾಗಿ ಕಾಣುತ್ತದೋ ಅಲ್ಲಿಗೆ ಹೋಗು ಅಂದನು. ಆಗ ಕಾವಲಿನವರ ಅಧಿಪತಿಯು ಅವನಿಗೆ ಆಹಾರವನ್ನೂ ಬಹುಮಾನವನ್ನೂ ಕೊಟ್ಟು ಕಳುಹಿಸಿಬಿಟ್ಟನು.
Malachi 1:10
ಉಚಿತವಾಗಿ ಬಾಗಲು ಗಳನ್ನಾದರೂ ಮುಚ್ಚವವನೂ ಇಲ್ಲವೆ ನನ್ನ ಬಲಿಪೀಠದಲ್ಲಿ ಉಚಿತವಾಗಿ ಬೆಂಕಿ ಹಚ್ಚುವವನೂ ನಿಮ್ಮಲ್ಲಿ ಯಾರು ಎಂದು ಹೇಳುತ್ತಾನೆ. ಸೈನ್ಯಗಳ ಕರ್ತನು--ನಿಮ್ಮಲ್ಲಿ ನನಗೆ ಇಷ್ಟವಿಲ್ಲ ಮತ್ತು ನಿಮ್ಮ ಕೈಯಿಂದ ನಾನು ಕಾಣಿಕೆಯನ್ನು ಅಂಗೀಕರಿಸುವದಿಲ್ಲ.
Acts 8:18
