דְּבַר word deh-VAHR יְהוָ֣ה׀ of yeh-VA אֲשֶׁ֣ר the uh-SHER הָיָ֗ה Lord ha-YA אֶל which el צְפַנְיָה֙ came tseh-fahn-YA בֶּן unto ben כּוּשִׁ֣י Zephaniah koo-SHEE בֶן the ven גְּדַלְיָ֔ה son ɡeh-dahl-YA בֶּן of ben אֲמַרְיָ֖ה Cushi, uh-mahr-YA בֶּן the ben חִזְקִיָּ֑ה son heez-kee-YA בִּימֵ֛י of bee-MAY יֹאשִׁיָּ֥הוּ Gedaliah, yoh-shee-YA-hoo בֶן the ven אָמ֖וֹן son ah-MONE מֶ֥לֶךְ of MEH-lek יְהוּדָֽה׃ Amariah, yeh-hoo-DA -
אָסֹ֨ף will ah-SOFE אָסֵ֜ף utterly ah-SAFE כֹּ֗ל consume kole מֵעַ֛ל all may-AL פְּנֵ֥י things peh-NAY הָאֲדָמָ֖ה from ha-uh-da-MA נְאֻם off neh-OOM יְהוָֽה׃ the yeh-VA -
אָסֵ֨ף will ah-SAFE אָדָ֜ם consume ah-DAHM וּבְהֵמָ֗ה man oo-veh-hay-MA אָסֵ֤ף and ah-SAFE עוֹף beast; ofe הַשָּׁמַ֙יִם֙ I ha-sha-MA-YEEM וּדְגֵ֣י will oo-deh-ɡAY הַיָּ֔ם consume ha-YAHM וְהַמַּכְשֵׁל֖וֹת the veh-ha-mahk-shay-LOTE אֶת fowls et הָרְשָׁעִ֑ים of hore-sha-EEM וְהִכְרַתִּ֣י the veh-heek-ra-TEE אֶת heaven, et הָאָדָ֗ם and ha-ah-DAHM מֵעַ֛ל the may-AL פְּנֵ֥י fishes peh-NAY הָאֲדָמָ֖ה of ha-uh-da-MA נְאֻם the neh-OOM יְהוָֽה׃ sea, yeh-VA -
וְנָטִ֤יתִי will veh-na-TEE-tee יָדִי֙ also ya-DEE עַל stretch al יְהוּדָ֔ה out yeh-hoo-DA וְעַ֖ל mine veh-AL כָּל hand kahl יוֹשְׁבֵ֣י upon yoh-sheh-VAY יְרוּשָׁלִָ֑ם Judah, yeh-roo-sha-la-EEM וְהִכְרַתִּ֞י and veh-heek-ra-TEE מִן upon meen הַמָּק֤וֹם all ha-ma-KOME הַזֶּה֙ the ha-ZEH אֶת inhabitants et שְׁאָ֣ר of sheh-AR הַבַּ֔עַל Jerusalem; ha-BA-al אֶת and et שֵׁ֥ם I shame הַכְּמָרִ֖ים will ha-keh-ma-REEM עִם cut eem הַכֹּהֲנִֽים׃ off ha-koh-huh-NEEM -
וְאֶת them veh-ET הַמִּשְׁתַּחֲוִ֥ים that ha-meesh-ta-huh-VEEM עַל worship al הַגַּגּ֖וֹת the ha-ɡA-ɡote לִצְבָ֣א host leets-VA הַשָּׁמָ֑יִם of ha-sha-MA-yeem וְאֶת heaven veh-ET הַמִּֽשְׁתַּחֲוִים֙ upon ha-mee-sheh-ta-huh-VEEM הַנִּשְׁבָּעִ֣ים the ha-neesh-ba-EEM לַֽיהוָ֔ה housetops; lai-VA וְהַנִּשְׁבָּעִ֖ים and veh-ha-neesh-ba-EEM בְּמַלְכָּֽם׃ them beh-mahl-KAHM -
וְאֶת them veh-ET הַנְּסוֹגִ֖ים that ha-neh-soh-ɡEEM מֵאַחֲרֵ֣י are may-ah-huh-RAY יְהוָ֑ה turned yeh-VA וַאֲשֶׁ֛ר back va-uh-SHER לֹֽא from loh בִקְשׁ֥וּ the veek-SHOO אֶת Lord; et יְהוָ֖ה and yeh-VA וְלֹ֥א those veh-LOH דְרָשֻֽׁהוּ׃ that deh-ra-shoo-HOO -
הַ֕ס thy hahs מִפְּנֵ֖י peace mee-peh-NAY אֲדֹנָ֣י at uh-doh-NAI יְהוִ֑ה the yeh-VEE כִּ֤י presence kee קָרוֹב֙ of ka-ROVE י֣וֹם the yome יְהוָ֔ה Lord yeh-VA כִּֽי God: kee הֵכִ֧ין for hay-HEEN יְהוָ֛ה the yeh-VA זֶ֖בַח day ZEH-vahk הִקְדִּ֥ישׁ of heek-DEESH קְרֻאָֽיו׃ the keh-roo-AIV -
וְהָיָ֗ה it veh-ha-YA בְּיוֹם֙ shall beh-YOME זֶ֣בַח come ZEH-vahk יְהוָ֔ה to yeh-VA וּפָקַדְתִּ֥י pass oo-fa-kahd-TEE עַל in al הַשָּׂרִ֖ים the ha-sa-REEM וְעַל day veh-AL בְּנֵ֣י of beh-NAY הַמֶּ֑לֶךְ the ha-MEH-lek וְעַ֥ל Lord's veh-AL כָּל sacrifice, kahl הַלֹּבְשִׁ֖ים that ha-loh-veh-SHEEM מַלְבּ֥וּשׁ I mahl-BOOSH נָכְרִֽי׃ will noke-REE -
וּפָקַדְתִּ֗י the oo-fa-kahd-TEE עַ֧ל same al כָּל day kahl הַדּוֹלֵ֛ג also ha-doh-LAɡE עַל will al הַמִּפְתָּ֖ן I ha-meef-TAHN בַּיּ֣וֹם punish BA-yome הַה֑וּא ha-HOO הַֽמְמַלְאִ֛ים all hahm-mahl-EEM בֵּ֥ית those bate אֲדֹנֵיהֶ֖ם that uh-doh-nay-HEM חָמָ֥ס leap ha-MAHS וּמִרְמָֽה׃ on oo-meer-MA -
וְהָיָה֩ it veh-ha-YA בַיּ֨וֹם shall VA-yome הַה֜וּא come ha-HOO נְאֻם to neh-OOM יְהוָ֗ה pass yeh-VA ק֤וֹל in kole צְעָקָה֙ that tseh-ah-KA מִשַּׁ֣עַר day, mee-SHA-ar הַדָּגִ֔ים saith ha-da-ɡEEM וִֽילָלָ֖ה the vee-la-LA מִן Lord, meen הַמִּשְׁנֶ֑ה that ha-meesh-NEH וְשֶׁ֥בֶר there veh-SHEH-ver גָּד֖וֹל shall ɡa-DOLE מֵהַגְּבָעֽוֹת׃ be may-ha-ɡeh-va-OTE -
הֵילִ֖ילוּ ye hay-LEE-loo יֹשְׁבֵ֣י inhabitants yoh-sheh-VAY הַמַּכְתֵּ֑שׁ of ha-mahk-TAYSH כִּ֤י Maktesh, kee נִדְמָה֙ for need-MA כָּל all kahl עַ֣ם the am כְּנַ֔עַן merchant keh-NA-an נִכְרְת֖וּ people neek-reh-TOO כָּל are kahl נְטִ֥ילֵי cut neh-TEE-lay כָֽסֶף׃ down; HA-sef -
וְהָיָה֙ it veh-ha-YA בָּעֵ֣ת shall ba-ATE הַהִ֔יא come ha-HEE אֲחַפֵּ֥שׂ to uh-ha-PASE אֶת pass et יְרוּשָׁלִַ֖ם at yeh-roo-sha-la-EEM בַּנֵּר֑וֹת that ba-nay-ROTE וּפָקַדְתִּ֣י time, oo-fa-kahd-TEE עַל that al הָאֲנָשִׁ֗ים I ha-uh-na-SHEEM הַקֹּֽפְאִים֙ will ha-koh-feh-EEM עַל search al שִׁמְרֵיהֶ֔ם sheem-ray-HEM הָאֹֽמְרִים֙ Jerusalem ha-oh-meh-REEM בִּלְבָבָ֔ם with beel-va-VAHM לֹֽא candles, loh יֵיטִ֥יב and yay-TEEV יְהוָ֖ה punish yeh-VA וְלֹ֥א veh-LOH יָרֵֽעַ׃ the ya-RAY-ah -
וְהָיָ֤ה their veh-ha-YA חֵילָם֙ goods hay-LAHM לִמְשִׁסָּ֔ה shall leem-shee-SA וּבָתֵּיהֶ֖ם become oo-voh-tay-HEM לִשְׁמָמָ֑ה a leesh-ma-MA וּבָנ֤וּ booty, oo-va-NOO בָתִּים֙ and voh-TEEM וְלֹ֣א their veh-LOH יֵשֵׁ֔בוּ houses yay-SHAY-voo וְנָטְע֣וּ a veh-note-OO כְרָמִ֔ים desolation: heh-ra-MEEM וְלֹ֥א they veh-LOH יִשְׁתּ֖וּ shall yeesh-TOO אֶת also et יֵינָֽם׃ build yay-NAHM -
קָר֤וֹב great ka-ROVE יוֹם day yome יְהוָה֙ of yeh-VA הַגָּד֔וֹל the ha-ɡa-DOLE קָר֖וֹב Lord ka-ROVE וּמַהֵ֣ר is oo-ma-HARE מְאֹ֑ד near, meh-ODE ק֚וֹל it kole י֣וֹם is yome יְהוָ֔ה near, yeh-VA מַ֥ר and mahr צֹרֵ֖חַ hasteth tsoh-RAY-ak שָׁ֥ם greatly, shahm גִּבּֽוֹר׃ even ɡee-bore -
י֥וֹם day yome עֶבְרָ֖ה is ev-RA הַיּ֣וֹם a HA-yome הַה֑וּא day ha-HOO י֧וֹם of yome צָרָ֣ה wrath, tsa-RA וּמְצוּקָ֗ה a oo-meh-tsoo-KA י֤וֹם day yome שֹׁאָה֙ of shoh-AH וּמְשׁוֹאָ֔ה trouble oo-meh-shoh-AH י֥וֹם and yome חֹ֙שֶׁךְ֙ distress, HOH-shek וַאֲפֵלָ֔ה a va-uh-fay-LA י֥וֹם day yome עָנָ֖ן of ah-NAHN וַעֲרָפֶֽל׃ wasteness va-uh-ra-FEL -
י֥וֹם day yome שׁוֹפָ֖ר of shoh-FAHR וּתְרוּעָ֑ה the oo-teh-roo-AH עַ֚ל trumpet al הֶעָרִ֣ים and heh-ah-REEM הַבְּצֻר֔וֹת alarm ha-beh-tsoo-ROTE וְעַ֖ל against veh-AL הַפִּנּ֥וֹת the ha-PEE-note הַגְּבֹהֽוֹת׃ fenced ha-ɡeh-voh-HOTE -
וַהֲצֵרֹ֣תִי I va-huh-tsay-ROH-tee לָאָדָ֗ם will la-ah-DAHM וְהָֽלְכוּ֙ bring veh-ha-leh-HOO כַּֽעִוְרִ֔ים distress ka-eev-REEM כִּ֥י upon kee לַֽיהוָ֖ה men, lai-VA חָטָ֑אוּ that ha-TA-oo וְשֻׁפַּ֤ךְ they veh-shoo-PAHK דָּמָם֙ shall da-MAHM כֶּֽעָפָ֔ר walk keh-ah-FAHR וּלְחֻמָ֖ם like oo-leh-hoo-MAHM כַּגְּלָלִֽים׃ blind ka-ɡeh-la-LEEM -
גַּם ɡahm כַּסְפָּ֨ם their kahs-PAHM גַּם silver ɡahm זְהָבָ֜ם nor zeh-ha-VAHM לֹֽא their loh יוּכַ֣ל gold yoo-HAHL לְהַצִּילָ֗ם shall leh-ha-tsee-LAHM בְּיוֹם֙ be beh-YOME עֶבְרַ֣ת able ev-RAHT יְהוָ֔ה to yeh-VA וּבְאֵשׁ֙ deliver oo-veh-AYSH קִנְאָת֔וֹ them keen-ah-TOH תֵּאָכֵ֖ל in tay-ah-HALE כָּל the kahl הָאָ֑רֶץ day ha-AH-rets כִּֽי of kee כָלָ֤ה the ha-LA אַךְ Lord's ak נִבְהָלָה֙ wrath; neev-ha-LA יַֽעֲשֶׂ֔ה but ya-uh-SEH אֵ֥ת the ate כָּל whole kahl יֹשְׁבֵ֖י land yoh-sheh-VAY הָאָֽרֶץ׃ shall ha-AH-rets
