וַיָּ֥מָת Elimelech va-YA-mote אֱלִימֶ֖לֶךְ Naomi's ay-lee-MEH-lek אִ֣ישׁ husband eesh נָֽעֳמִ֑י died; na-oh-MEE וַתִּשָּׁאֵ֥ר and va-tee-sha-ARE הִ֖יא she hee וּשְׁנֵ֥י was oo-sheh-NAY בָנֶֽיהָ׃ left, va-NAY-ha -

וַיָּמֻ֥תוּ Mahlon va-ya-MOO-too גַם and ɡahm שְׁנֵיהֶ֖ם Chilion sheh-nay-HEM מַחְל֣וֹן died mahk-LONE וְכִלְי֑וֹן also veh-heel-YONE וַתִּשָּׁאֵר֙ both va-tee-sha-ARE הָֽאִשָּׁ֔ה of ha-ee-SHA מִשְּׁנֵ֥י them; mee-sheh-NAY יְלָדֶ֖יהָ and yeh-la-DAY-ha וּמֵֽאִישָֽׁהּ׃ the oo-MAY-ee-SHA -

וַתֵּצֵ֗א she va-tay-TSAY מִן went meen הַמָּקוֹם֙ forth ha-ma-KOME אֲשֶׁ֣ר out uh-SHER הָֽיְתָה of HA-yeh-ta שָּׁ֔מָּה the SHA-ma וּשְׁתֵּ֥י place oo-sheh-TAY כַלֹּתֶ֖יהָ where ha-loh-TAY-ha עִמָּ֑הּ ee-MA וַתֵּלַ֣כְנָה she va-tay-LAHK-na בַדֶּ֔רֶךְ was, va-DEH-rek לָשׁ֖וּב and la-SHOOV אֶל her el אֶ֥רֶץ two EH-rets יְהוּדָֽה׃ daughters yeh-hoo-DA -
וַתֹּ֤אמֶר Naomi va-TOH-mer נָֽעֳמִי֙ said na-oh-MEE לִשְׁתֵּ֣י unto leesh-TAY כַלֹּתֶ֔יהָ her ha-loh-TAY-ha לֵ֣כְנָה two LAY-heh-na שֹּׁ֔בְנָה daughters SHOH-veh-na אִשָּׁ֖ה in ee-SHA לְבֵ֣ית law, leh-VATE אִמָּ֑הּ Go, ee-MA יַ֣עַשׂה return YA-as יְהוָ֤ה each yeh-VA עִמָּכֶם֙ to ee-ma-HEM חֶ֔סֶד her HEH-sed כַּֽאֲשֶׁ֧ר mother's ka-uh-SHER עֲשִׂיתֶ֛ם house: uh-see-TEM עִם the eem הַמֵּתִ֖ים Lord ha-may-TEEM וְעִמָּדִֽי׃ deal veh-ee-ma-DEE -
יִתֵּ֤ן Lord yee-TANE יְהוָה֙ grant yeh-VA לָכֶ֔ם you la-HEM וּמְצֶ֣אןָ that oo-meh-TSEH-na מְנוּחָ֔ה ye meh-noo-HA אִשָּׁ֖ה may ee-SHA בֵּ֣ית find bate אִישָׁ֑הּ rest, ee-SHA וַתִּשַּׁ֣ק each va-tee-SHAHK לָהֶ֔ן of la-HEN וַתִּשֶּׂ֥אנָה you va-tee-SEH-na קוֹלָ֖ן in koh-LAHN וַתִּבְכֶּֽינָה׃ the va-teev-KAY-na -
וַתֹּאמַ֖רְנָה they va-toh-MAHR-na לָּ֑הּ said la כִּֽי unto kee אִתָּ֥ךְ her, ee-TAHK נָשׁ֖וּב Surely na-SHOOV לְעַמֵּֽךְ׃ we leh-ah-MAKE -
וַתֹּ֤אמֶר Naomi va-TOH-mer נָֽעֳמִי֙ said, na-oh-MEE שֹׁ֣בְנָה Turn SHOH-veh-na בְנֹתַ֔י again, veh-noh-TAI לָ֥מָּה my LA-ma תֵלַ֖כְנָה daughters: tay-LAHK-na עִמִּ֑י why ee-MEE הַעֽוֹד will ha-ODE לִ֤י ye lee בָנִים֙ go va-NEEM בְּֽמֵעַ֔י with beh-may-AI וְהָי֥וּ me? veh-ha-YOO לָכֶ֖ם are la-HEM לַֽאֲנָשִֽׁים׃ there LA-uh-na-SHEEM -

הֲלָהֵ֣ן׀ ye huh-la-HANE תְּשַׂבֵּ֗רְנָה tarry teh-sa-BAY-reh-na עַ֚ד for ad אֲשֶׁ֣ר them uh-SHER יִגְדָּ֔לוּ till yeeɡ-DA-loo הֲלָהֵן֙ huh-la-HANE תֵּֽעָגֵ֔נָה they tay-ah-ɡAY-na לְבִלְתִּ֖י were leh-veel-TEE הֱי֣וֹת grown? hay-YOTE לְאִ֑ישׁ would leh-EESH אַ֣ל ye al בְּנֹתַ֗י stay beh-noh-TAI כִּֽי for kee מַר them mahr לִ֤י from lee מְאֹד֙ having meh-ODE מִכֶּ֔ם husbands? mee-KEM כִּֽי nay, kee יָצְאָ֥ה my yohts-AH בִ֖י daughters; vee יַד for yahd יְהוָֽה׃ it yeh-VA -
וַתִּשֶּׂ֣נָה they va-tee-SEH-na קוֹלָ֔ן lifted koh-LAHN וַתִּבְכֶּ֖ינָה up va-teev-KAY-na ע֑וֹד their ode וַתִּשַּׁ֤ק voice, va-tee-SHAHK עָרְפָּה֙ and ore-PA לַֽחֲמוֹתָ֔הּ wept la-huh-moh-TA וְר֖וּת again: veh-ROOT דָּ֥בְקָה DA-veh-ka בָּֽהּ׃ and ba -
וַתֹּ֗אמֶר she va-TOH-mer הִנֵּה֙ said, hee-NAY שָׁ֣בָה Behold, SHA-va יְבִמְתֵּ֔ךְ thy yeh-veem-TAKE אֶל sister el עַמָּ֖הּ in ah-MA וְאֶל law veh-EL אֱלֹהֶ֑יהָ is ay-loh-HAY-ha שׁ֖וּבִי gone SHOO-vee אַֽחֲרֵ֥י back ah-huh-RAY יְבִמְתֵּֽךְ׃ unto yeh-veem-TAKE -
וַתֹּ֤אמֶר Ruth va-TOH-mer רוּת֙ said, root אַל Intreat al תִּפְגְּעִי me teef-ɡeh-EE בִ֔י not vee לְעָזְבֵ֖ךְ to leh-oze-VAKE לָשׁ֣וּב leave la-SHOOV מֵאַֽחֲרָ֑יִךְ thee, may-ah-huh-RA-yeek כִּ֠י or kee אֶל to el אֲשֶׁ֨ר return uh-SHER תֵּֽלְכִ֜י from tay-leh-HEE אֵלֵ֗ךְ following ay-LAKE וּבַֽאֲשֶׁ֤ר after oo-va-uh-SHER תָּלִ֙ינִי֙ thee: ta-LEE-NEE אָלִ֔ין for ah-LEEN עַמֵּ֣ךְ whither ah-MAKE עַמִּ֔י ah-MEE וֵֽאלֹהַ֖יִךְ thou vay-loh-HA-yeek אֱלֹהָֽי׃ goest, ay-loh-HAI -
בַּֽאֲשֶׁ֤ר thou ba-uh-SHER תָּמ֙וּתִי֙ diest, ta-MOO-TEE אָמ֔וּת will ah-MOOT וְשָׁ֖ם I veh-SHAHM אֶקָּבֵ֑ר die, eh-ka-VARE כֹּה֩ and koh יַֽעֲשֶׂ֨ה there ya-uh-SEH יְהוָ֥ה will yeh-VA לִי֙ I lee וְכֹ֣ה be veh-HOH יֹסִ֔יף buried: yoh-SEEF כִּ֣י the kee הַמָּ֔וֶת Lord ha-MA-vet יַפְרִ֖יד do yahf-REED בֵּינִ֥י so bay-NEE וּבֵינֵֽךְ׃ to oo-vay-NAKE -
וַתֵּ֕רֶא she va-TAY-reh כִּֽי saw kee מִתְאַמֶּ֥צֶת that meet-ah-MEH-tset הִ֖יא she hee לָלֶ֣כֶת was la-LEH-het אִתָּ֑הּ stedfastly ee-TA וַתֶּחְדַּ֖ל minded va-tek-DAHL לְדַבֵּ֥ר to leh-da-BARE אֵלֶֽיהָ׃ go ay-LAY-ha -
וַתֵּלַ֣כְנָה they va-tay-LAHK-na שְׁתֵּיהֶ֔ם two sheh-tay-HEM עַד went ad בּוֹאָ֖נָה until boh-AH-na בֵּ֣ית they bate לָ֑חֶם came LA-hem וַיְהִ֗י to vai-HEE כְּבֹאָ֙נָה֙ Bethlehem. keh-voh-AH-NA בֵּ֣ית And bate לֶ֔חֶם it LEH-hem וַתֵּהֹ֤ם came va-tay-HOME כָּל to kahl הָעִיר֙ pass, ha-EER עֲלֵיהֶ֔ן when uh-lay-HEN וַתֹּאמַ֖רְנָה they va-toh-MAHR-na הֲזֹ֥את were huh-ZOTE נָֽעֳמִֽי׃ come NA-oh-MEE -
וַתֹּ֣אמֶר she va-TOH-mer אֲלֵיהֶ֔ן said uh-lay-HEN אַל unto al תִּקְרֶ֥אנָה them, teek-REH-na לִ֖י Call lee נָֽעֳמִ֑י me na-oh-MEE קְרֶ֤אןָ not keh-REH-na לִי֙ Naomi, lee מָרָ֔א call ma-RA כִּֽי me kee הֵמַ֥ר Mara: hay-MAHR שַׁדַּ֛י for sha-DAI לִ֖י the lee מְאֹֽד׃ Almighty meh-ODE -
