और जब जब वह बादल तम्बू पर से उठ जाता तब इस्त्राएली प्रस्थान करते थे; और जिस स्थान पर बादल ठहर जाता वहीं इस्त्राएली अपने डेरे खड़े करते थे।

| journeyed: | יִשְׂרָאֵ֑ל | yiśrāʾēl | yees-ra-ALE |
| and in the place | וּבִמְק֗וֹם | ûbimqôm | oo-veem-KOME |
| where | אֲשֶׁ֤ר | ʾăšer | uh-SHER |
| the cloud | יִשְׁכָּן | yiškān | yeesh-KAHN |
| abode, | שָׁם֙ | šām | shahm |
| there | הֶֽעָנָ֔ן | heʿānān | heh-ah-NAHN |
| the children | שָׁ֥ם | šām | shahm |
| of Israel | יַֽחֲנ֖וּ | yaḥănû | ya-huh-NOO |
| pitched their tents. | בְּנֵ֥י | bĕnê | beh-NAY |
