Mark 7
1 तब फरीसी और कई एक शास्त्री जो यरूशलेम से आए थे, उसके पास इकट्ठे हुए।
2 और उन्होंने उसके कई एक चेलों को अशुद्ध अर्थात बिना हाथ धोए रोटी खाते देखा।
3 क्योंकि फरीसी और सब यहूदी, पुरनियों की रीति पर चलते हैं और जब तक भली भांति हाथ नहीं धो लेते तब तक नहीं खाते।
4 और बाजार से आकर, जब तक स्नान नहीं कर लेते, तब तक नहीं खाते; और बहुत सी और बातें हैं, जो उन के पास मानने के लिये पहुंचाई गई हैं, जैसे कटोरों, और लोटों, और तांबे के बरतनों को धोना-मांझना।
5 इसलिये उन फरीसियों और शास्त्रियों ने उस से पूछा, कि तेरे चेले क्यों पुरनियों की रीतों पर नहीं चलते, और बिना हाथ धोए रोटी खाते हैं?
6 उस ने उन से कहा; कि यशायाह ने तुम कपटियों के विषय में बहुत ठीक भविष्यद्ववाणी की; जैसा लिखा है; कि ये लोग होठों से तो मेरा आदर करते हैं, पर उन का मन मुझ से दूर रहता है।
7 और ये व्यर्थ मेरी उपासना करते हैं, क्योंकि मनुष्यों की आज्ञाओं को धर्मोपदेश करके सिखाते हैं।
8 क्योंकि तुम परमेश्वर की आज्ञा को टालकर मनुष्यों की रीतियों को मानते हो।
9 और उस ने उन से कहा; तुम अपनी रीतियों को मानने के लिये परमेश्वर आज्ञा कैसी अच्छी तरह टाल देते हो!
10 क्योंकि मूसा ने कहा है कि अपने पिता और अपनी माता का आदर कर; ओर जो कोई पिता वा माता को बुरा कहे, वह अवश्य मार डाला जाए।
11 परन्तु तुम कहते हो कि यदि कोई अपने पिता वा माता से कहे, कि जो कुछ तुझे मुझ से लाभ पहुंच सकता था, वह कुरबान अर्थात संकल्प हो चुका।
12 तो तुम उस को उसके पिता वा उस की माता की कुछ सेवा करने नहीं देते।
13 इस प्रकार तुम अपनी रीतियों से, जिन्हें तुम ने ठहराया है, परमेश्वर का वचन टाल देते हो; और ऐसे ऐसे बहुत से काम करते हो।
14 और उस ने लोगों को अपने पास बुलाकर उन से कहा, तुम सब मेरी सुनो, और समझो।
15 ऐसी तो कोई वस्तु नहीं जो मनुष्य में बाहर से समाकर अशुद्ध करे; परन्तु जो वस्तुएं मनुष्य के भीतर से निकलती हैं, वे ही उसे अशुद्ध करती हैं।
16 यदि किसी के सुनने के कान हों तो सुन ले।
17 जब वह भीड़ के पास से घर में गया, तो उसके चेलों ने इस दृष्टान्त के विषय में उस से पूछा।
18 उस ने उन से कहा; क्या तुम भी ऐसे ना समझ हो? क्या तुम नहीं समझते, कि जो वस्तु बाहर से मनुष्य के भीतर जाती है, वह उसे अशुद्ध नहीं कर सकती?
19 क्योंकि वह उसके मन में नहीं, परन्तु पेट में जाती है, और संडास में निकल जाती है यह कहकर उस ने सब भोजन वस्तुओं को शुद्ध ठहराया।
20 फिर उस ने कहा; जो मनुष्य में से निकलता है, वही मनुष्य को अशुद्ध करता है।
21 क्योंकि भीतर से अर्थात मनुष्य के मन से, बुरी बुरी चिन्ता, व्यभिचार।
22 चोरी, हत्या, पर स्त्रीगमन, लोभ, दुष्टता, छल, लुचपन, कुदृष्टि, निन्दा, अभिमान, और मूर्खता निकलती हैं।
23 ये सब बुरी बातें भीतर ही से निकलती हैं और मनुष्य को अशुद्ध करती हैं॥
24 फिर वह वहां से उठकर सूर और सैदा के देशों में आया; और एक घर में गया, और चाहता था, कि कोई न जाने; परन्तु वह छिप न सका।
25 और तुरन्त एक स्त्री जिस की छोटी बेटी में अशुद्ध आत्मा थी, उस की चर्चा सुन कर आई, और उसके पांवों पर गिरी।
26 यह यूनानी और सूरूफिनीकी जाति की थी; और उस ने उस से बिनती की, कि मेरी बेटी में से दुष्टात्मा निकाल दे।
27 उस ने उस से कहा, पहिले लड़कों को तृप्त होने दे, क्योंकि लड़कों की रोटी लेकर कुत्तों के आगे डालना उचित नहीं है।
28 उस ने उस को उत्तर दिया; कि सच है प्रभु; तौ भी कुत्ते भी तो मेज के नीचे बालकों की रोटी का चूर चार खा लेते हैं।
29 उस ने उस से कहा; इस बात के कारण चली जा; दुष्टात्मा तेरी बेटी में से निकल गई है।
30 और उस ने अपने घर आकर देखा कि लड़की खाट पर पड़ी है, और दुष्टात्मा निकल गई है॥
31 फिर वह सूर और सैदा के देशों से निकलकर दिकपुलिस देश से होता हुआ गलील की झील पर पहुंचा।
32 और लोगों ने एक बहिरे को जो हक्ला भी था, उसके पास लाकर उस से बिनती की, कि अपना हाथ उस पर रखे।
33 तब वह उस को भीड़ से अलग ले गया, और अपनी उंगलियां उसके कानों में डालीं, और थूक कर उस की जीभ को छूआ।
34 और स्वर्ग की ओर देखकर आह भरी, और उस से कहा; इप्फत्तह, अर्थात खुल जा।
35 और उसके कान खुल गए, और उस की जीभ की गांठ भी खुल गई, और वह साफ साफ बोलने लगा।
36 तब उस ने उन्हें चिताया कि किसी से न कहना; परन्तु जितना उस ने उन्हें चिताया उतना ही वे और प्रचार करने लगे।
37 और वे बहुत ही आश्चर्य में होकर कहने लगे, उस ने जो कुछ किया सब अच्छा किया है; वह बहिरों को सुनने, की, और गूंगों को बोलने की शक्ति देता है॥
1 Then came together unto him the Pharisees, and certain of the scribes, which came from Jerusalem.
2 And when they saw some of his disciples eat bread with defiled, that is to say, with unwashen, hands, they found fault.
3 For the Pharisees, and all the Jews, except they wash their hands oft, eat not, holding the tradition of the elders.
4 And when they come from the market, except they wash, they eat not. And many other things there be, which they have received to hold, as the washing of cups, and pots, brasen vessels, and of tables.
5 Then the Pharisees and scribes asked him, Why walk not thy disciples according to the tradition of the elders, but eat bread with unwashen hands?
6 He answered and said unto them, Well hath Esaias prophesied of you hypocrites, as it is written, This people honoureth me with their lips, but their heart is far from me.
7 Howbeit in vain do they worship me, teaching for doctrines the commandments of men.
8 For laying aside the commandment of God, ye hold the tradition of men, as the washing of pots and cups: and many other such like things ye do.
9 And he said unto them, Full well ye reject the commandment of God, that ye may keep your own tradition.
10 For Moses said, Honour thy father and thy mother; and, Whoso curseth father or mother, let him die the death:
11 But ye say, If a man shall say to his father or mother, It is Corban, that is to say, a gift, by whatsoever thou mightest be profited by me; he shall be free.
12 And ye suffer him no more to do ought for his father or his mother;
13 Making the word of God of none effect through your tradition, which ye have delivered: and many such like things do ye.
14 And when he had called all the people unto him, he said unto them, Hearken unto me every one of you, and understand:
15 There is nothing from without a man, that entering into him can defile him: but the things which come out of him, those are they that defile the man.
16 If any man have ears to hear, let him hear.
17 And when he was entered into the house from the people, his disciples asked him concerning the parable.
18 And he saith unto them, Are ye so without understanding also? Do ye not perceive, that whatsoever thing from without entereth into the man, it cannot defile him;
19 Because it entereth not into his heart, but into the belly, and goeth out into the draught, purging all meats?
20 And he said, That which cometh out of the man, that defileth the man.
21 For from within, out of the heart of men, proceed evil thoughts, adulteries, fornications, murders,
22 Thefts, covetousness, wickedness, deceit, lasciviousness, an evil eye, blasphemy, pride, foolishness:
23 All these evil things come from within, and defile the man.
24 And from thence he arose, and went into the borders of Tyre and Sidon, and entered into an house, and would have no man know it: but he could not be hid.
25 For a certain woman, whose young daughter had an unclean spirit, heard of him, and came and fell at his feet:
26 The woman was a Greek, a Syrophenician by nation; and she besought him that he would cast forth the devil out of her daughter.
27 But Jesus said unto her, Let the children first be filled: for it is not meet to take the children’s bread, and to cast it unto the dogs.
28 And she answered and said unto him, Yes, Lord: yet the dogs under the table eat of the children’s crumbs.
29 And he said unto her, For this saying go thy way; the devil is gone out of thy daughter.
30 And when she was come to her house, she found the devil gone out, and her daughter laid upon the bed.
31 And again, departing from the coasts of Tyre and Sidon, he came unto the sea of Galilee, through the midst of the coasts of Decapolis.
32 And they bring unto him one that was deaf, and had an impediment in his speech; and they beseech him to put his hand upon him.
33 And he took him aside from the multitude, and put his fingers into his ears, and he spit, and touched his tongue;
34 And looking up to heaven, he sighed, and saith unto him, Ephphatha, that is, Be opened.
35 And straightway his ears were opened, and the string of his tongue was loosed, and he spake plain.
36 And he charged them that they should tell no man: but the more he charged them, so much the more a great deal they published it;
37 And were beyond measure astonished, saying, He hath done all things well: he maketh both the deaf to hear, and the dumb to speak.

1 ଯିହାଶୂେୟଙ୍କର ମୃତକ୍ସ୍ଟ୍ଯପରେ ଇଶ୍ରାୟେଲର ଲେୀକମାନେ ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁଙ୍କୁ ପ୍ରାର୍ଥନା କଲେ, ସମାନେେ ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁଙ୍କର ଆଦେଶ ମାଗିଲେ, ପ୍ରଥମେ କେଉଁ ପରିବାରବର୍ଗର ଲୋକମାନେ କିଣାନୀଯ ଲୋକମାନଙ୍କ ବିରକ୍ସ୍ଟଦ୍ଧ ରେ ୟକ୍ସ୍ଟଦ୍ଧ କରିବାକୁ ଯିବେ?
Now after the death of Joshua it came to pass, that the children of Israel asked the Lord, saying, Who shall go up for us against the Canaanites first, to fight against them?
2 ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁ ଇଶ୍ରାୟେଲୀୟଙ୍କୁ କହିଲେ, ସର୍ବପ୍ରଥମେ ୟିହକ୍ସ୍ଟଦାର ପରିବାରବର୍ଗ ୟିବ। ମୁ ସମାନଙ୍କେୁ ସହେି ଭୂମି ଦବୋକକ୍ସ୍ଟ ଅନକ୍ସ୍ଟମତି ଦବେି।
And the Lord said, Judah shall go up: behold, I have delivered the land into his hand.

And Judah said unto Simeon his brother, Come up with me into my lot, that we may fight against the Canaanites; and I likewise will go with thee into thy lot. So Simeon went with him.
4 ତା'ପରେ ୟିହକ୍ସ୍ଟଦାର ଲୋକ ଆକ୍ରମଣ କରିବାକୁ ଗଲେ। କିଣାନୀଯ ଓ ପରିଷୀଯମାନଙ୍କୁ ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁ ୟିହକ୍ସ୍ଟଦାର ଲୋକମାନଙ୍କୁ ସମର୍ପଣ କଲେ। ଏବଂ ୟିହକ୍ସ୍ଟଦାର ଲୋକମାନେ 10,000 ଲୋକଙ୍କକ୍ସ୍ଟ ବଷେକରେ ହତ୍ଯା କଲେ।
And Judah went up; and the Lord delivered the Canaanites and the Perizzites into their hand: and they slew of them in Bezek ten thousand men.
5 ୟିହକ୍ସ୍ଟଦାର ଲୋକମାନେ ବଷେକର ଶାସକଙ୍କକ୍ସ୍ଟ ବଷେକ ସହର ରେ ପାଇଲେ ଏବଂ ତାଙ୍କ ବିରକ୍ସ୍ଟଦ୍ଧ ରେ ୟକ୍ସ୍ଟଦ୍ଧ କଲେ ଏବଂ ସମାନେେ କିଣାନୀଯ ଏବଂ ପରିଷୀଯଙ୍କକ୍ସ୍ଟ ପରାସ୍ତ କଲେ।
And they found Adoni-bezek in Bezek: and they fought against him, and they slew the Canaanites and the Perizzites.
6 ବଷେକର ଶାସକ ଖସି ପଳାଇବାକକ୍ସ୍ଟ ଚେଷ୍ଟା କରିଥିଲେ, କିନ୍ତୁ ୟିହକ୍ସ୍ଟଦାର ଲୋକମାନେ ତାଙ୍କୁ ଗୋଡଇେଲେ ଏବଂ ତାଙ୍କୁ ଧରି ଥିଲେ। ଯେତବେେଳେ ସମାନେେ ତାଙ୍କୁ ଧରିଲେ, ସମାନେେ ତାଙ୍କର ବକ୍ସ୍ଟଢା ଅଙ୍ଗକ୍ସ୍ଟଳିକକ୍ସ୍ଟ ଏବଂ ପାଦର ବକ୍ସ୍ଟଢା ଅଙ୍ଗକ୍ସ୍ଟଠିକକ୍ସ୍ଟ କାଟି ନଇେଥିଲେ।
But Adoni-bezek fled; and they pursued after him, and caught him, and cut off his thumbs and his great toes.
7 ଏହାପରେ ଅଦୋନୀବଷେକ୍ ସମାନଙ୍କେୁ କହିଲେ, ହସ୍ତପାଦର ଛିନ୍ନା ଅଙ୍ଗକ୍ସ୍ଟଳି ସତକ୍ସ୍ଟରି ଜଣ ରାଜା ଆମ୍ଭ ମଜେ ତଳେ ନିଜର ଆହାର ସାଉଣ୍ଟକ୍ସ୍ଟ ଥିଲେ। ମୁ ଯେପରି କରିଥିଲି ପରମେଶ୍ବର ମାେତେ ସହେିପରି ଦେଲେ। ଏହାପରେ ୟିହକ୍ସ୍ଟଦାର ଲୋକମାନେ ଅଦୋନୀବଷେକ୍ଙ୍କକ୍ସ୍ଟ ଯିରୁଶାଲମକୁ ଆଣିଲେ ଓ ସେ ସଠାେରେ ମୃତକ୍ସ୍ଟ୍ଯବରଣ କଲା।
And Adoni-bezek said, Threescore and ten kings, having their thumbs and their great toes cut off, gathered their meat under my table: as I have done, so God hath requited me. And they brought him to Jerusalem, and there he died.
8 ୟିହକ୍ସ୍ଟଦାର ଲୋକମାନେ ୟିରକ୍ସ୍ଟଶାଲମର ଲୋକମାନଙ୍କ ବିରକ୍ସ୍ଟଦ୍ଧ ରେ ୟକ୍ସ୍ଟଦ୍ଧ କଲେ ଓ ଯିରୁଶାଲମକୁ ଅଧିକାର କଲେ। ୟିହକ୍ସ୍ଟଦାର ଲୋକମାନେ ସମାନଙ୍କେୁ ଖଣ୍ତା ଦ୍ବାରା ହତ୍ଯା କଲେ ଓ ସହରକକ୍ସ୍ଟ ପୋଡି଼ ଦେଲେ ।
Now the children of Judah had fought against Jerusalem, and had taken it, and smitten it with the edge of the sword, and set the city on fire.
9 ଏହାପରେ ୟିହକ୍ସ୍ଟଦାର ଲୋକମାନେ କିଣାନୀଯ ବିରକ୍ସ୍ଟଦ୍ଧ ରେ ୟକ୍ସ୍ଟଦ୍ଧ କଲେ, ଯେଉଁମାନେ ପର୍ବତମଯ ଦେଶ ରେ ନଗେଭେି ରେ ଏବଂ ପାଶ୍ଚାତ୍ ମାଳଭୂମିରେ ବସବାସ କରୁଥିଲେ।
And afterward the children of Judah went down to fight against the Canaanites, that dwelt in the mountain, and in the south, and in the valley.
10 ଏହାପରେ ୟିହକ୍ସ୍ଟଦାର ଲୋକମାନେ କିଣାନୀଯମାନଙ୍କ ସହିତ ୟକ୍ସ୍ଟଦ୍ଧ କଲେ। ଯେଉଁମାନେ ହିବ୍ରୋଣ ସହର ରେ ବାସ କରୁଥିଲେ। ହିବ୍ରୋଣର ପୂରାତନ ନାମ ଥିଲା କିରିଯଥ ଅର୍ବ ୟିହକ୍ସ୍ଟଦାର ଲୋକମାନେ ଶେଶଯ, ଅହୀମାନ ଓ ତନ୍ମଯକକ୍ସ୍ଟ ପରାସ୍ତ କଲେ।
And Judah went against the Canaanites that dwelt in Hebron: (now the name of Hebron before was Kirjath-arba:) and they slew Sheshai, and Ahiman, and Talmai.
11 ୟିହକ୍ସ୍ଟଦାର ଲୋକମାନେ ସେ ସ୍ଥାନକକ୍ସ୍ଟ ପରିତ୍ଯାଗ କଲେ। ସମାନେେ ଦବୀର ସହର ଅଭିମକ୍ସ୍ଟଖେ ସମାନଙ୍କେର ଲୋକମାନଙ୍କ ବିରକ୍ସ୍ଟଦ୍ଧ ରେ ୟକ୍ସ୍ଟଦ୍ଧ କରିବାକୁ ଗଲେ। ଅତୀତ କାଳ ରେ ଦବୀର ନାମ ଥିଲା କିରିଯଥ ସଫରେ।
And from thence he went against the inhabitants of Debir: and the name of Debir before was Kirjath-sepher:
12 ୟିହକ୍ସ୍ଟଦାର ଲୋକମାନେ ୟକ୍ସ୍ଟଦ୍ଧ ଆରମ୍ଭ କଲା ପୂର୍ବରକ୍ସ୍ଟ, କାଲେବ୍ ସକୋନଙ୍କକ୍ସ୍ଟ ଗୋଟିଏ ପ୍ରତିଜ୍ଞା କରିଥିଲେ। କାଲବେ କହିଲା, ମୁ କିରିଯଥ ସଫରେ ବିରକ୍ସ୍ଟଦ୍ଧ ରେ ୟକ୍ସ୍ଟଦ୍ଧ କରିବାକୁ ଗ୍ଭ ହେଁ। ଯେଉଁ ଲୋକ ସେ ସହରକକ୍ସ୍ଟ ପରାସ୍ତ କରିବ, ମୁ ତା' ସହିତ ମାରେ କନ୍ଯା ଅକ୍ଷାରକକ୍ସ୍ଟ ବିବାହ ଦବେି।
And Caleb said, He that smiteth Kirjath-sepher, and taketh it, to him will I give Achsah my daughter to wife.
13 କାଲେବ୍ର ଜଣେ କନିଷ୍ଠ ଭାଇ ଥିଲେ ଯାହାର ନାମ ଥିଲା କନସର। କନ୍ସର ପକ୍ସ୍ଟତ୍ର ଅତ୍ନୀଯଲେ। ଅତ୍ନୀଯଲେ କରିଯଥ- ସଫରେର ସହର ଅଧିକାର କରିଥିଲେ ଏବଂ କାଲେବ୍ ତାଙ୍କୁ ଅକ୍ଷାରକକ୍ସ୍ଟ ବିବାହ ଦେଲେ।
And Othniel the son of Kenaz, Caleb’s younger brother, took it: and he gave him Achsah his daughter to wife.
14 ତାଙ୍କର ସ୍ବାମୀ ଅତ୍ନୀଯେଲ୍ଙ୍କ ସଙ୍ଗ ରେ ୟିବା ସମୟରେ, ଅକଷାର ତାଙ୍କ ପିତାକକ୍ସ୍ଟ ଖଣ୍ଡେ ଭୂମି ପାଇଁ ପଗ୍ଭରିବାକକ୍ସ୍ଟ, ତାଙ୍କୁ ଉପଦେଶ ଦେଲେ। ଯେତବେେଳେ ସେ ଘୋଡାରକ୍ସ୍ଟ ଓହ୍ଲାଇ ପଡିଲେ, କାଲେବ୍ ତାଙ୍କୁ ପଚାରିଲେ, ଭୂଲ୍ କ'ଣ?
And it came to pass, when she came to him, that she moved him to ask of her father a field: and she lighted from off her ass; and Caleb said unto her, What wilt thou?
15 ଅକ୍ଷାର କାଲେବ୍ଙ୍କକ୍ସ୍ଟ କହିଲେ, ମାେତେ ଆର୍ଶିବାଦ କର। ଆପଣା ମାେତେ ଦକ୍ଷିଣ ରେ ଭୂମି ଦଇେଛନ୍ତି, ଯାହାକି ଶକ୍ସ୍ଟଷ୍କ, ମାେତେ କିଛି ଜଳ ନିର୍ଝର ଭୂମି ଦିଅନ୍ତକ୍ସ୍ଟ। ଏହାପରେ କାଲେବ୍ ଭୂମିର ଉପରିସ୍ଥ ଓ ତଳସ୍ଥ ନିର୍ଝର ସହେି ଭୂମି ତାଙ୍କୁ ଦେଲେ।
And she said unto him, Give me a blessing: for thou hast given me a south land; give me also springs of water. And Caleb gave her the upper springs and the nether springs.
16 କିଣାନୀଯମାନେ ଖଜକ୍ସ୍ଟରୀପକ୍ସ୍ଟରସ୍ଥର ସହର ଯରେିକୋକକ୍ସ୍ଟ ପରିତ୍ଯାଗ କଲେ ଏବଂ ୟିହକ୍ସ୍ଟଦାର ଲୋକମାନଙ୍କ ସହିତ ୟିହକ୍ସ୍ଟଦାର ମରକ୍ସ୍ଟଅଞ୍ଚଳ ରେ ଲୋକମାନଙ୍କ ସହିତ ବାସ କରିବାକୁ ଗଲେ। ଏହା ଅରାଦର ନିକଟବର୍ତ୍ତୀ ଥିଲା, କନେୀଯ ଲୋକମାନେ ମାଶାଙ୍କେର ଶ୍ବଶକ୍ସ୍ଟର ଘର ପରିବାରରକ୍ସ୍ଟ ଥିଲେ।
And the children of the Kenite, Moses’ father in law, went up out of the city of palm trees with the children of Judah into the wilderness of Judah, which lieth in the south of Arad; and they went and dwelt among the people.
17 ୟିହକ୍ସ୍ଟଦା ଓ ତାଙ୍କର ଭାଇମାନେ ମିଶିଶିମିଯୋନ ପରିବାରବର୍ଗ ସହିତ ଗଲେ, ସମାନେେ ସଫାତ୍ବାସୀ କିଣାନୀଯମାନଙ୍କୁ ଆଘାତ କରି ସହେି ନଗରକକ୍ସ୍ଟ ବର୍ଜିତ ରୂପେ ବିନାଶ କଲେ ଏବଂ ସହେି ନଗର ନାମ ହେଲା ହର୍ମା।
And Judah went with Simeon his brother, and they slew the Canaanites that inhabited Zephath, and utterly destroyed it. And the name of the city was called Hormah.
18 ୟିହକ୍ସ୍ଟଦାର ଲୋକମାନେ ଘାସା ସହର ଏବଂ ଏହାର ପାଶର୍ବବର୍ତ୍ତୀ ସହର ଅଧିକାର କଲେ। ସମାନେେ ଅସ୍କିଲୋନ୍ ସହରଗକ୍ସ୍ଟଡିକ ଓ ଇକୋର୍ଣ ଓ ତା'ର ପାଶର୍ବବର୍ତ୍ତୀ ଅଞ୍ଚଳକକ୍ସ୍ଟ ଅଧିକାର କଲେ।
Also Judah took Gaza with the coast thereof, and Askelon with the coast thereof, and Ekron with the coast thereof.
19 ୟିହକ୍ସ୍ଟଦାର ଲୋକମାନେ ଯେତବେେଳେ ୟକ୍ସ୍ଟଦ୍ଧ କରୁଥିଲେ, ସେତବେେଳେ ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁ ସମାନଙ୍କେର ପକ୍ଷ ରେ ଥିଲେ। ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁ ପର୍ବତମଯ ଦେଶକକ୍ସ୍ଟ ସମାନଙ୍କେର ଅଧିକାରକକ୍ସ୍ଟ ଆଣିଲେ। କିନ୍ତୁ ୟିହକ୍ସ୍ଟଦାର ଲୋକମାନେ ତଳଭୂମିଗୁଡିକୁ ସମାନଙ୍କେର ଅଧିନକକ୍ସ୍ଟ ଆଣିପାରି ନ ଥିଲେ। କାରଣ ସଠାେରେ ଯେଉଁ ଲୋକମାନେ ବାସ କରୁଥିଲେ, ଲୌହ ନିର୍ମିତ ରଥ ବ୍ଯବହାର କରୁଥିଲେ।
And the Lord was with Judah; and he drave out the inhabitants of the mountain; but could not drive out the inhabitants of the valley, because they had chariots of iron.
20 କାଲେବ୍କକ୍ସ୍ଟ ହିବ୍ରୋଣକକ୍ସ୍ଟ ନବୋ ପାଇଁ ମାଶାେ ପ୍ରତିଜ୍ଞା କରିଥିଲେ, ତେଣୁ ସହେି ଭୂମି କାଲେବ୍କକ୍ସ୍ଟ ଦିଆଗଲା। କାଲେବ୍ ମଧ୍ଯ ବଳାତ୍କାର କରି ଅଙ୍ଗର ତିନି ପକ୍ସ୍ଟତ୍ରକକ୍ସ୍ଟ ସଠାେରକ୍ସ୍ଟ ତଡି ଦେଲେ।
And they gave Hebron unto Caleb, as Moses said: and he expelled thence the three sons of Anak.
21 ବିନ୍ଯାମୀନର ପରିବାରବର୍ଗମାନେ ୟିରକ୍ସ୍ଟଶାଲମ ନିବାସୀ ୟୀବୂଷୀଯମାନଙ୍କୁ ତଡି ଦେଲେ ନାହିଁ। ତେଣୁ ଆଜିୟାଏ ମଧ୍ଯ ବିଦ୍ଯାମୀନ ସନ୍ତାନଗଣ ସହିତ ବାସ କରୁଛନ୍ତି।
And the children of Benjamin did not drive out the Jebusites that inhabited Jerusalem; but the Jebusites dwell with the children of Benjamin in Jerusalem unto this day.
22 ଯୋଷଫେର ପରିବାରବର୍ଗ ବୈଥଲହମରେ ଲୋକମାନଙ୍କ ବିରକ୍ସ୍ଟଦ୍ଧ ରେ ୟକ୍ସ୍ଟଦ୍ଧ କଲେ। ଅତୀତ ରେ ବୈଥେଲ୍ର ନାମ ଥିଲା ଲୂସ୍। ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁ ଯୋଷଫେର ପରିବାରବର୍ଗଙ୍କ ପଟ ରେ ଥିଲେ।
And the house of Joseph, they also went up against Beth-el: and the Lord was with them.
23 ଯୋଷଫେର ପରିବାରବର୍ଗ କିଛି ଅନକ୍ସ୍ଟଚରଗଣ ବୈଥଲକେକ୍ସ୍ଟ ପଠାଇଲେ।
And the house of Joseph sent to descry Beth-el. (Now the name of the city before was Luz.)
24 ଯେତବେେଳେ ଅନକ୍ସ୍ଟଚରମାନେ ଦେଖିଲେ କହେି ଜଣେ ନଗରରକ୍ସ୍ଟ ବାହାରକକ୍ସ୍ଟ ଆସକ୍ସ୍ଟଛି ସହେି ଅନକ୍ସ୍ଟଚରମାନେ ସହେି ଲୋକକୁ କହିଲେ, ଆମ୍ଭମାନଙ୍କୁ ଗକ୍ସ୍ଟଲ୍ଗ ପଥ ଦଖାେନ୍ତକ୍ସ୍ଟ ଯେଉଁ ବାଟ ଦଇେ ଆମ୍ଭେ ସହରକକ୍ସ୍ଟ ଆକ୍ରମଣ କରିବକ୍ସ୍ଟ। କିନ୍ତୁ ଯଦି ତୁମ୍ଭେ ଆମ୍ଭକକ୍ସ୍ଟ ସାହାୟ୍ଯ କର, ତବେେ ଆମ୍ଭମାନେେ ତୁମ୍ଭକୁ ମାରିବକ୍ସ୍ଟ ନାହିଁ।
And the spies saw a man come forth out of the city, and they said unto him, Shew us, we pray thee, the entrance into the city, and we will shew thee mercy.
25 ସହେି ବ୍ଯକ୍ତିଜଣକ ଅନକ୍ସ୍ଟଚରମାନଙ୍କୁ ସହରକକ୍ସ୍ଟ ଗକ୍ସ୍ଟଲ୍ଗପଥ ଦଖାଇେ ଥିଲେ। ଯୋଷଫେର ପରିବାରବର୍ଗ ଖଣ୍ତା ରେ ବୈଥେଲ୍ର ସମସ୍ତ ଲୋକମାନଙ୍କୁ ହତ୍ଯା କଲେ। କିନ୍ତୁ ସମାନେେ ସହେି ଲୋକଙ୍କକ୍ସ୍ଟ ମାରି ନଥିଲେ ୟିଏ ସମାନଙ୍କେୁ ଗକ୍ସ୍ଟଲ୍ଗପଥ ଦଖାଇେଥିଲେ। ସମାନେେ ତାକକ୍ସ୍ଟ ଓ ତାହାର ପରିବାରବର୍ଗକକ୍ସ୍ଟ ସ୍ବାଧିନ ଭାବରେ ୟିବାକକ୍ସ୍ଟ ଅନକ୍ସ୍ଟମତି ଦେଲେ।
And when he shewed them the entrance into the city, they smote the city with the edge of the sword; but they let go the man and all his family.
26 ସହେି ଲୋକ, ହିତ୍ତୀଯମାନେ ବାସ କରୁଥିବା ସ୍ଥାନକକ୍ସ୍ଟ ଗଲେ। ଏବଂ ଏମିତିକି ଆଜି ସହେି ସହର ଲୂସ୍ ନାମ ରେ ପରିଚିତ।
And the man went into the land of the Hittites, and built a city, and called the name thereof Luz: which is the name thereof unto this day.
27 କିଣାନୀଯ ବୈଥିସାନର ସହରଗକ୍ସ୍ଟଡିକରେ, ତାନକ, ଦୋରା, ୟିବ୍ଲଯିମ, ମମିଦ୍ଦୋ ଏବଂ ସମାନଙ୍କେ ଚତକ୍ସ୍ଟଃପାଶର୍ବ ରେ ଅଧିକ େଛାଟ ସହରମାନଙ୍କ ରେ ବସବାସ କରୁଥିଲେ। ମନଃଶି ପରିବାରବର୍ଗର ଲୋକମାନେ ସହେି ସହରରକ୍ସ୍ଟ ସହେି ଲୋକମାନଙ୍କୁ ତଡିବାକକ୍ସ୍ଟ ସକ୍ଷମ ହେଲେ ନାହିଁ। ତେଣୁ ସଠାେରେ କିଣାନୀଯମାନେ ବାସ କଲେ।
Neither did Manasseh drive out the inhabitants of Beth-shean and her towns, nor Taanach and her towns, nor the inhabitants of Dor and her towns, nor the inhabitants of Ibleam and her towns, nor the inhabitants of Megiddo and her towns: but the Canaanites would dwell in that land.
28 ଏହାପରେ ଇଶ୍ରାୟେଲର ଲୋକମାନେ ଶକ୍ତିଶାଳୀ ହବୋକକ୍ସ୍ଟ ଲାଗିଲେ ଏବଂ ସମାନଙ୍କେର କ୍ରିତଦାସ କରିବା ପାଇଁ ସମାନେେ କିଣାନୀଯମାନଙ୍କୁ ବାଧ୍ଯ କଲେ। କିନ୍ତୁ କିଣାନୀଯମାନଙ୍କୁ ତଡିଦବୋକକ୍ସ୍ଟ ସମାନେେ ସକ୍ଷମ ହାଇେ ନଥିଲେ।
And it came to pass, when Israel was strong, that they put the Canaanites to tribute, and did not utterly drive them out.
29 ଇଫ୍ରଯିମଙ୍କ ପାଇଁ ଠିକ୍ ଏହିପରି ଭାବରେ ଘଟିଥିଲା। ଗଷେର ରେ କିଣାନୀଯ ଲୋକମାନେ ବାସ କରିବାକୁ ଲାଗିଲେ ଏବଂ ଇଫ୍ରଯିମ କିଣାନୀଯ ଲୋକମାନଙ୍କୁ ତଡି ଦେଲେ ନାହିଁ। ତେଣୁ ଇଫ୍ରଯିମ କିଣାନୀଯମାନଙ୍କ ସହିତ ମିଶି ରହିବାକକ୍ସ୍ଟ ଲାଗିଲେ।
Neither did Ephraim drive out the Canaanites that dwelt in Gezer; but the Canaanites dwelt in Gezer among them.
30 ଠିକ୍ ସହେିପରି ଘଟିଥିଲା ସବୁଲୂନ୍ ବଂଶଧରଙ୍କ ପ୍ରତି କେତକେ କିଣାନୀଯ ନିବାସୀ ବାସ କରୁଥିଲେ, କିଟ୍ରୋଣ ଓ ନହଲୋଲ୍ ରେ କିନ୍ତୁ ସବୁଲୂନ ପରିବାରବର୍ଗମାନେ ସମାନଙ୍କେୁ ତଡିଦଇେ ନ ଥିଲେ। ସହେି କିଣାନୀଯ ଲୋକମାନେ ସବୁଲୂନ୍ ଲୋକମାନଙ୍କ ସହିତ ବାସ କରୁଥିଲେ। କିନ୍ତୁ ସବୁଲୂନ୍ ଲୋକମାନେ ସମାନଙ୍କେୁ କ୍ରିତଦାସ ଭାବରେ ଖଟାଇଲେ।
Neither did Zebulun drive out the inhabitants of Kitron, nor the inhabitants of Nahalol; but the Canaanites dwelt among them, and became tributaries.
31 ଆଶରେ ପରିବାରବର୍ଗମାନଙ୍କ ସହିତ ଠିକ୍, ତାହା ହିଁ ଘିଟିଲା। ଆଶରେ ପରିବାରବର୍ଗର ଲୋକମାନେ ଯେଉଁମାନେ ସମାନଙ୍କେ ସହିତ ଅକ୍କୋନିବାସୀ, ସୀଦୋନ୍ ଅହଲବ୍ ଅକଷୀବ ହିଲବା, ଅଫିକ୍ ଓ ରହୋବରକ୍ସ୍ଟ ବସବାସ କରୁଥିଲେ, ସହେି ଲୋକମାନଙ୍କୁ ବିତାଡିତ କଲନୋହିଁ।
Neither did Asher drive out the inhabitants of Accho, nor the inhabitants of Zidon, nor of Ahlab, nor of Achzib, nor of Helbah, nor of Aphik, nor of Rehob:
32 ଆଶରେୀଯ ଲୋକମାନେ କିଣାନୀଯକକ୍ସ୍ଟ ସମାନଙ୍କେର ଦେଶରକ୍ସ୍ଟ ତଡି ଦଇେ ନ ଥିଲେ। ତେଣୁ କିଣାନୀଯ ଲୋକମାନେ ଆଶରେୀଯମାନଙ୍କ ସହିତ ନ୍ତିରନ୍ତର ମିଶି ରହକ୍ସ୍ଟଥିଲେ।
But the Asherites dwelt among the Canaanites, the inhabitants of the land: for they did not drive them out.
33 ନଲ୍ଗାଲି ପରିବାରବର୍ଗର ଲୋକମାନଙ୍କ ସହିତ ଠିକ୍ ଏକାପରି ଘଟିଥିଲା। ନଲ୍ଗାଲି ଲୋକମାନେ ବୈଥଶମେଶ ଓ ବେଥ୍ନାତ୍ମାନେ ଲୋକମାନଙ୍କୁ ତଡିଦଇେ ନ ଥିଲେ। ତେଣୁ ନଲ୍ଗାଲିର ଲୋକମାନେ ସହେି ସହରର ଲୋକମାନଙ୍କ ସହିତ ମିଶି ବାସ କଲେ। କିଣାନୀଯମାନେ ନଲ୍ଗାଲି ଲୋକମାନଙ୍କର କ୍ରିତଦାସ ରୂପେ କାର୍ୟ୍ଯ କଲେ।
Neither did Naphtali drive out the inhabitants of Beth-shemesh, nor the inhabitants of Beth-anath; but he dwelt among the Canaanites, the inhabitants of the land: nevertheless the inhabitants of Beth-shemesh and of Beth-anath became tributaries unto them.
34 ଇ ମାରେୀଯମାନେ ଦାନ ପରିବାରବର୍ଗର ସନ୍ତାନଗଣଙ୍କକ୍ସ୍ଟ ପର୍ବତମଯ ଦେଶ ରେ ରହିବାକକ୍ସ୍ଟ ବାଧ୍ଯ କଲେ। ସମାନଙ୍କେୁ ତଳଭୂମିକକ୍ସ୍ଟ ଆସିବାକକ୍ସ୍ଟ ଦେଲେ ନାହିଁ।
And the Amorites forced the children of Dan into the mountain: for they would not suffer them to come down to the valley:
35 ଇ ମାରେୀଯମାନେ ହରେସ ପର୍ବତ ରେ ଅଯାଲୋନ ରେ ଓ ଶାଲବୀ ରେ ବାସ କରିବାକୁ ମନସ୍ଥ କଲେ। ତଥାପି ଯୋଷଫେ ପରିବାରବର୍ଗ ଶକ୍ତିଶାଳୀ ହୁଅନ୍ତେ ସମାନେେ କ୍ରିତଦାସ ହାଇେ ରହିଲେ।
But the Amorites would dwell in mount Heres in Aijalon, and in Shaalbim: yet the hand of the house of Joseph prevailed, so that they became tributaries.
36 ଇ ମାରେୀଯ ଲୋକମାନଙ୍କର ଭୂମିର ସୀମା ଅକ୍ରଦ୍ଦୀମ ଘାଟି ଶୈଳଠାରକ୍ସ୍ଟ ଏବଂ ପର୍ବତ ଦେଶ ଶିଳା ସୀମା ମଧିଅରେ ଥିଲା।
And the coast of the Amorites was from the going up to Akrabbim, from the rock, and upward.
