Exodus 14:16
और तू अपनी लाठी उठा कर अपना हाथ समुद्र के ऊपर बढ़ा, और वह दो भाग हो जाएगा; तब इस्राएली समुद्र के बीच हो कर स्थल ही स्थल पर चले जाएंगे।

| the sea, | הַיָּ֖ם | hayyām | ha-YAHM |
| divide and | וּבְקָעֵ֑הוּ | ûbĕqāʿēhû | oo-veh-ka-A-hoo |
| it: and the children | וְיָבֹ֧אוּ | wĕyābōʾû | veh-ya-VOH-oo |
| Israel of | בְנֵֽי | bĕnê | veh-NAY |
| shall go | יִשְׂרָאֵ֛ל | yiśrāʾēl | yees-ra-ALE |
| dry on | בְּת֥וֹךְ | bĕtôk | beh-TOKE |
| ground through the midst | הַיָּ֖ם | hayyām | ha-YAHM |
