Ecclesiastes 1:9
ઇતિહાસનું કેવળ પુનરાવર્તન થાય છે, જે થઇ ગયું છે તે જ થવાનું છે; અને જે કરવામાં આવ્યું છે તે જ કરવામાં આવશે; ખરેખર દુનિયા પર કશું જ નવું નથી.

હવે મેં જ્ઞાની, ગાંડપણ અને મૂર્ખતાના લક્ષણોનો તુલનાત્મક અભ્યાસ શરું કર્યો. જ્યારે એક રાજાની જગ્યાએ બીજો રાજા આવે છે તો નવા રાજાએ કાંઇ નવું કરવાનું નથી. દરેક વસ્તુ બધી પહેલેથીજ કરી લીધેલી હોય છે.

જે કાંઇ બની રહ્યું છે તેનું પહેલેથી ભૂતકાળમાં વર્ણન થઇ ગયું એ જાણીતું છે કે લોકો, તેઓ કરતા કોઇ વધારે બળવાન હોય તો જીરવી શકતા નથી.

“ભૂતકાળનાં દિવસો હાલનાં કરતાં વધારે સારા શા માટે હતા,” એમ નહિ કહો કારણ કે આ વિશે પૂછવા માટે તમને પ્રેરે છે તે ડહાપણ ભરેલું નથી.
યશાયા 43:19
કારણ કે હું એક નવું કામ કરવાનો છું. જુઓ, મેં તેમની શરૂઆત કરી દીધી છે! શું તમે જોઇ શકતા નથી? મારા લોકો માટે અરણ્યમાં હું માર્ગ તૈયાર કરીશ અને રાનમાં તેઓને માટે નદીઓ ઉત્પન્ન કરીશ!
2 પિતરનો પત્ર 2:1
ભૂતકાળમાં દેવના લોકો વચ્ચે ખોટા પ્રબોધકો ઊભા થયા હતા. અત્યારે પણ એવું જ છે. તમારા સમૂહમાં કેટલાએક જૂઠાં ઉપદેશકો છે. તેઓ જે વસ્તુ ખોટી છે તેનો ઉપદેશ આપશે કે જેનાથી લોકો ખોવાઇ જાય. આ ખોટા ઉપદેશકો એ રીતે ઉપદેશ આપશે કે જેથી તેઓ ખોટા છે તે શોધવું તમારા માટે મુશ્કેલ બની જશે. તેઓ સ્વામી (ઈસુ) કે જેના દ્ધારા તેઓને સ્વતંત્રતા મળી છે, તેનો પણ સ્વીકાર કરવાનો નકાર કરશે. અને આથી તેઓ પોતાની જાતે ઉતાવળે નાશ વહોરી લેશે.
પ્રકટીકરણ 21:5
તે જે રાજ્યાસન પર બેઠો હતો, તેણે કહ્યું, “જુઓ! હું બધી જ વસ્તુઓ નવી બનાવું છું!” પછી તેણે કહ્યું, “આ લખ, કારણ કે આ વાતો સત્ય છે અને વિશ્વાસપાત્ર છે.”
