Daniel 4:8
આખરે દાનિયેલ મારી આગળ આવ્યો, મારા દેવના નામ પરથી તેનું નામ મેં બેલ્ટશાસ્સાર રાખ્યું હતું. એ માણસોમાં પવિત્ર દેવોનો આત્મા છે. મેં તેને મારા સ્વપ્નની વાત કરી.

તમારા રાજ્યમાં એક માણસ એવો છે, જેનામાં પવિત્ર દેવનો આત્મા વસે છે. તમારા પિતાના સમયમાં એ માણસ દિવ્યજ્ઞાન, બુદ્ધિમતા, અને હોશિયારી માટે જાણીતો હતો અને તમારા પિતા નબૂખાદનેસ્સારે એને જાદુગરો, મંત્રવિદોનો અધ્યક્ષ બનાવ્યો હતો.

દારિયેલ 4:9
મેં કહ્યું,“હે બેલ્ટશાસ્સાર, તું જાદુગરોમાં અગ્રગણ્ય છે, કારણ, હું જાણું છું કે, તારામાં પવિત્ર દેવોની શકિતનો વાસ છે, કોઇ પણ રહસ્ય એવું નથી જેને તું ઉકેલી ન શકે. મારા સ્વપ્નનો અર્થ શો છે તે તું મને કહે.

દારિયેલ 2:11
આપ અમારી પાસે જે જાણવા માંગો છો તે એવું મુશ્કેલ છે કે, દેવો સિવાય કોઇપણ કહી ન શકે. અને દેવો માણસોની વચ્ચે રહેતા નથી.”

“સર્વ પ્રજાઓને આ સંદેશો કહો! ઢંઢેરો પિટાવો, બધી પ્રજાઓને જાહેર કરો, છુપાવશો નહિ, ખબર આપો કે, ‘બાબિલ જીતાયું છે, બઆલ દેવની બેઆબરું થઇ છે, મેરોદાખ દેવના ફુરચા ઉડાવી દેવામાં આવ્યાં છે; બાબિલની મૂર્તિઓને શરમજનક કરવામાં આવી છે, તેના પૂતળાંને ભાંગી નાખવામાં આવ્યાં છે.’

પછી તેમણે તેમના સેવક મૂસાના જૂના દિવસો યાદ કર્યા અને કહેવા લાગ્યા, પોતાના લોકોના આગેવાનને સમુદ્રમાંથી પાર ઉતારનાર યહોવા ક્યાં છે? તેમનામાં પોતાના આત્માનો સંચાર કરનાર એ ક્યાં છે?

યહોવા કહે છે, “બેલને નમાવી દીધું છે,નબો વિરોધ કરે છે, તેમની મૂર્તિઓ ઢોરો પર લાદવામાં આવી છે, જે મૂર્તિઓને તમે માથે લઇને ફરતા હતા તે અત્યારે થાકેલાં જનાવરો પર ભારરૂપે લદાઇ છે.

હું નીચે ઊતરીને ત્યાં આવીશ અને તારી સાથે વાત કરીશ, મેં તને જે આત્માં આપ્યો છે તેમાંથી લઈને હું એ લોકોને આપીશ તેથી તેઓ પણ તારી સાથે લોકોનો ભાર ઊચકશે, પછી તારે એકલાએ તે ભાર સહન કરવો પડશે નહિ.”
