તેથી મેં વિચાયુંર્ કે, ‘હવે પલિસ્તીઓ ગિલ્ગાલ ઉપર હુમલો કરવાને તૈયાર છે, અને મંે હજી યહોવાને પ્રસન્ન કરવા પ્રાર્થના કરી નથી; તેથી માંરું હૃદય દુ:ખાવીને વધારે રાહ જોયા વિના દહનાર્પણોનાંબલિદાન અર્પણ કર્યા.”‘
