પૃથ્વી પરના બધા લોકોએ તેના વ્યભિચારના પાપનો તથા દેવના કોપનો દ્રાક્ષારસ પીધો છે. પૃથ્વી પરના રાજાઓએ તેની સાથે વ્યભિચારનાં પાપ કર્યા છે અને પૃથ્વી પરના વેપારીઓ તેની સમૃદ્ધ સંપત્તિ અને મોજશોખમાંથી શ્રીમંત થયા છે.’

ભૂતકાળમાં દેવના લોકો વચ્ચે ખોટા પ્રબોધકો ઊભા થયા હતા. અત્યારે પણ એવું જ છે. તમારા સમૂહમાં કેટલાએક જૂઠાં ઉપદેશકો છે. તેઓ જે વસ્તુ ખોટી છે તેનો ઉપદેશ આપશે કે જેનાથી લોકો ખોવાઇ જાય. આ ખોટા ઉપદેશકો એ રીતે ઉપદેશ આપશે કે જેથી તેઓ ખોટા છે તે શોધવું તમારા માટે મુશ્કેલ બની જશે. તેઓ સ્વામી (ઈસુ) કે જેના દ્ધારા તેઓને સ્વતંત્રતા મળી છે, તેનો પણ સ્વીકાર કરવાનો નકાર કરશે. અને આથી તેઓ પોતાની જાતે ઉતાવળે નાશ વહોરી લેશે.
