Psalm 123 in Gujarati

1 હે આકાશના રાજ્યાસન પર બિરાજનાર દેવ; હું તારા ભણી આંખ ઊંચી કરું છું.

2 જેમ સેવક પોતાના માલિક તરફ જોયા કરે; જેમ દાસીની આંખો પોતાની શેઠાણીને જોયા કરે; તેમ અમારી આંખો અમારા દેવ યહોવાની દયા થાય ત્યાં સુધી તેના ભણી તાકી રહે છે.

3 અમારા પર દયા કરો, હે યહોવા દયા કરો; ખરાબ વ્યવહારથી અમે કંટાળી ગયા છીએ.

4 પેલા આળસુ અને ઉદ્ધત લોકો તરફથી અમારા પર પૂરતું અપમાન અને દોષારોપણ થયું.

2 Unto thee lift I up mine eyes, O thou that dwellest in the heavens.

3 Behold, as the eyes of servants look unto the hand of their masters, and as the eyes of a maiden unto the hand of her mistress; so our eyes wait upon the Lord our God, until that he have mercy upon us.

4 Have mercy upon us, O Lord, have mercy upon us: for we are exceedingly filled with contempt.

5 Our soul is exceedingly filled with the scorning of those that are at ease, and with the contempt of the proud.
