તેમણે આ દેશની પ્રજાને પણ તે જણાવ્યું છે. એ લોકો જાણે છે કે, યહોવા અમાંરી વચ્ચે વસે છે અને તે અમને મોઢામોઢ દર્શન આપે છે, અમને તેમના વાદળની ઓથે મળે છે, એ લોકો જાણે છે કે, તમે દિવસે વાદળના સ્તંભરૂપે અને રાત્રે અગ્નિના સ્તંભરૂપે અમાંરી આગળ ચાલો છો.

કોઈ પણ માણસે આજપર્યંત દેવને જોયો નથી, પરંતુ એકાકીજનિત દીકરો (ઈસુ) જ દેવ છે. તે પિતા (દેવની) ની ઘણી નજીક છે. દેવ કોના જેવો છે, તે દીકરાએ આપણને બતાવ્યું છે.

આપણી સાથે પણ આમ જ છે. અત્યારે તો આપણે દર્પણમાં ઝાખું ઝાંખું જોઈ રહ્યા છીએ. પરંતુ ભવિષ્યમાં આપણે ત્યારે સ્પષ્ટપણે જોઈ શકીશું. અત્યારે તો હું ફક્ત એક અંશને જ જાણું છું. પરંતુ ત્યારે કે જ્યારે હું સંપૂર્ણપણે જ્ઞાત હોઈશ. જેવી રીતે દેવ મને ઓળખે છે. તેવી રીતે હું પણ તેને સંપૂર્ણ જાણીશ.

યોહાન 14:9
ઈસુએ ઉત્તર આપ્યો, “ફિલિપ, ઘણા લાંબા સમય સુધી હું તારી સાથે છું. તેથી તારે મને ઓળખવો જોઈએ. જે વ્યક્તિએ મને જોયો છે તેણે મારા પિતાને પણ જોયો છે. તેથી તું શા માટે કહે છે, અમને પિતા બતાવ?

ત્યાર બાદ ઇસ્રાએલમાં મૂસા જેવો કોઈ બીજો પ્રબોધક થયો નથી; યહોવાએ તેને પ્રત્યક્ષ દર્શન આપી તેની સાથે વાતો કરી હતી.

તેઓને દિવસે રસ્તો બતાવવા માંટે યહોવા વાદળના થાંભલા રૂપે આગળ આગળ ચાલતા તેમજ રાત્રે તેમને પ્રકાશ મળે તેથી અગ્નિસ્તંભરૂપે ચાલતા. જેથી તેઓ સતત રાતદિવસ યાત્રા કરી શકતા હતા.
