ત્યાં બાર દરવાજા અને બાર મોતી હતાં, દરેક દરવાજો એક એક મોતીમાંથી બનાવ્યો હતો. તે શહેરની શેરી શુદ્ધ સોનામાંથી બનાવાઈ હતી. સોનું નિર્મળ કાચના જેવું હતું.

તે શહેરના દરવાજાઓ દિવસ દરમ્યાન કદાપિ બંધ રહેશે નહિ. કારણ કે ત્યાં રાત્રિ નથી.
