Ezekiel 39:9
“ઇસ્રાએલના નગરોના વતનીઓ બહાર નીકળશે અને પોતાનાં હથિયારોના નાનીમોટી ઢાલ, ધનુષ્ય, બાણ અને ભાલાં બાળીને સળગાવી દેશે અને તે સાત વરસ સુધી ચાલશે.

સાત વર્ષ સુધી તેઓને બળતણ માટે બીજું કશું વાપરવું પડશે નહિ, માણસોને લાકડાં વીણવા વગડામાં જવું પડશે નહિ કે લાકડા કાપવા જંગલમાં નહિ જાય, પણ હથિયારથી જ તાપણાં સળગતા રાખશે. તેમને લૂંટનારાઓને તેઓ લૂટશે અને તેમનું પડાવી લેનારનું તેઓ પડાવી લેશે.” આ યહોવા મારા માલિકના વચન છે.

“તે એફ્રાઇમ અને યરૂશાલેમમાં યુદ્ધના રથોને, અશ્વોને અને શસ્ત્રોનો નાશ કરશે. સમગ્ર પ્રજાઓમાં તે શાંતિ સ્થાપશે, અને તેનું રાજ્ય સાગરથી સાગર સુધી અને ફ્રાતનદીથી પૃથ્વીના છેડા સુધી વિસ્તરશે.”
