Daniel 3:15
પરંતુ હું એક વધુ તક તમને આપીશ. જ્યારે વાજિંત્રોમાં રણશિંગુ, શરણાઇ, વીણા, સિતાર, સારંગી વગેરે વાગે ત્યારે સાષ્ટાંગ દંડવત પ્રણામ કરીને તમે પૂજા કરવા તૈયાર થશો તો સારી વાત છે. પણ જો તમે પૂજા નહિ કરો તો તમને તત્કાળ બળબળતા અગ્નિની ભઠ્ઠીમાં નાખવામાં આવશે. મારા હાથમાંથી કયા દેવ તમને બચાવશે?”

જે દેવની અમે સેવા કરીએ છીએ તે અમને બળતા અગ્નિની ભઠ્ઠીમાંથી અને આપના હાથમાંથી ઉગારવાને શકિતમાન છે. તે અમને બચાવવા માટે શકિતમાન છે.

ત્યારબાદ નબૂખાદનેસ્સારે કહ્યું, “શાદ્રાખ, મેશાખ અને અબેદનગોના દેવનો જય હો! તેણે પોતાના દૂતને મોકલીને પોતાના ભકતોને ઉગારી લીધા છે, જેમણે એને ભરોસે રાજાની આજ્ઞાનો ભંગ કર્યો હતો અને પોતાના દેવ સિવાય બીજા કોઇપણ દેવની સેવા કે, પૂજા કરવાને બદલે મરવાનું પસંદ કર્યું હતું. પરંતુ દેવે તેઓનો ઉદ્ધાર કર્યો છે.

દારિયેલ 6:16
છેવટે રાજાએ દાનિયેલની ધરપકડ માટે આદેશ આપ્યો અને તેને સિંહોની ગુફામાં નાખવા લઇ જવામાં આવ્યો. તેણે દાનિયેલને કહ્યું, “જે દેવની તું સતત સેવા ઉપાસના કરે છે તે તને બચાવો.”

દારિયેલ 6:20
ગુફા આગળ તે પહોંચ્યો ત્યારે વેદનાભર્યા અવાજે તેણે દાનિયેલને હાંક મારીને કહ્યું, “હે દાનિયેલ, હે જીવંત દેવના સેવક! જેની તું સતત સેવા કરે છે, તે તારો દેવ તને સિંહોથી બચાવી શક્યો?”

માથ્થી 10:19
જ્યારે તમને પકડવામાં આવે તો તમારે શું કહેવું અને કેવી રીતે કહેવું તેની ચિંતા કરશો નહિ. યોગ્ય ઉત્તર આપવાના શબ્દો તમને તે વખતે જ આપવામાં આવશે.

હાકેમે પાઉલને બોલવા માટે ઇશારો કર્યો. તેથી પાઉલે જવાબ આપ્યો. “નામદાર હાકેમ ફેલિકસ, હું જાણું છું કે આ દેશનો તું લાંબા સમય સુધી ન્યાયાધીશ રહ્યો છે. તેથી હું ખુશીથી મારો બચાવ મારી જાતે તારી સમક્ષ રજૂ કરું છું.
