John 19:38
પાછળથી, અરિમથાઈનો યૂસફ નામનો માણસ પિલાતને ઈસુના દેહને લઈ જવા માટે પૂછયું. (યૂસફ ઈસુનો ગુપ્ત શિષ્ય હતો. પરંતુ તેણે ગુપ્ત રાખ્યું, કારણ કે તે યહૂદિઓથી બીતો હતો.) પિલાતે કહ્યું કે યૂસફ ઈસુના દેહને લઈ જઈ શકે તેમ છે. તેથી યૂસફ આવ્યો અને ઈસુના દેહને લઈ ગયો.
