Mark 10:27
ઈસુએ શિષ્યો તરફ જોયું અને કહ્યું, ‘આ કઈક એવું છે જે લોકો તેમની જાતે કરી શકે નહિ, તે દેવ પાસેથી આવવું જોઈએ. દેવ બધી વસ્તુઓ કરી શકે છે.’

ઈબ્રાહિમ માનતો હતો કે દેવ મૂએલાંઓને પાછા ઉઠાડી શકે છે, અને ખરેખર દેવે જ્યારે ઈબ્રાહિમને ઈસહાકનું બલિદાન આપતા રોક્યો, ત્યારે તે તેને મૂએલામાંથી પાછા બોલાવવા જેવું હતું.
