Lamentations 2:11
રડી રડી આંખોનું તેજ ઘટી ગયું છે, ને મારા આંતરડા કકળી ઊઠયા છે, મારંુ હૃદય, લોકોના નાશને જોઇને ઓગળી રહ્યું છે; નગરનાં બાળકો રાજમાર્ગ પર મૂછિર્ત થઇ પડ્યા છે.

તું રાત્રીના પ્રથમ પહોરે ઊઠી, મોટેથી પ્રાર્થના કર; અને યહોવા સમક્ષ પાણીની જેમ હૃદય ઠાલવ. ભૂખથી ચકલે ચકલે મૂર્ચ્છા પામતાં તારાં બાળકનો જીવ બચાવવા યહોવા આગળ-તારો હાથ તેની ભણી ઊંચા કર.
