Joshua 9:18
પરંતુ આગેવાનોએ ઇસ્રાએલના દેવ યહોવાના નામ પર શપથ લીધાં હતા કે તેઓ તેમના પર હુમલો નહિ કરે, એટલે તેઓ તેમને માંરી શક્યાં નહિ, બધા લોકોએ આગેવાનો વિરુદ્ધ ફરિયાદ કરી.

| had sworn | נְשִׂיאֵ֣י | nĕśîʾê | neh-see-A |
| Lord the by them unto | הָֽעֵדָ֔ה | hāʿēdâ | ha-ay-DA |
| God | בַּֽיהוָ֖ה | bayhwâ | bai-VA |
| of Israel. | אֱלֹהֵ֣י | ʾĕlōhê | ay-loh-HAY |
| all And | יִשְׂרָאֵ֑ל | yiśrāʾēl | yees-ra-ALE |
| the congregation | וַיִּלֹּ֥נוּ | wayyillōnû | va-yee-LOH-noo |
| murmured | כָל | kāl | hahl |
